I think they are from Gamespot, although I'm not sure.

Hello all. I just rented a game called Sly Cooper and the Thievious Raccoonus...sounds stupid, but it's really good. Best platformer I've played since Mario 64. Okay...that's all I have for now.

Any general info on how the gameplay of MK5 will work? I loved Ultimate MK3 but couldn't stand MK4.

MK5 is gonna be kinda like, well, from what i've seen, that Star Wars fighting game that was out awhile ago, where you have weapons and stuff in a 3D landscape...i dunno though, its been a while.

I've just realized...how latley, video game companies have made "trailers" for their games, starting with GTA3. Vice City has one, Red Faction 2 has one, i just saw one for Medal of Honor...i think its wicked cool, shows how sophisticated games have gotten.

Hell, if you go to any gaming store, ALOT of the newer better games have demo's out that you can play or a video that you can watch on the system...like for splinter cell...*drool*

Unless you go to GAME in England, as all we do is shove a game in the machine and let it play the demo's, and we don't generally have a demo X-Box machine to be played on, and no, no testing out games either.

But we're generally good at answering questions, oh and I'd like to thank everyone here... I own none of the newer consoles, but hey, I can at least now say "Well I've not played that game in particular, but from what I've heard of it, it's great" .

Isn't that all that really matters in the end? To be able to say "hey, at least I heard it was great!"

MK5 is gonna be off the hook, I think Eagle70 has it right in some ways with his description.. it sure looks like thats how the playing style will be from the early vids.

What MK5 could really use is a movie DVD like Shenmue detailing what's been going on since MK1 .. Not many people realize that Liu Kang was killed off in MK4 (at least I think it's 4, I'm not even certain), why Sub Zero is mask less and has the marking on his face and so on.

Same goes for a sporting goods store... "I heard it was a good product" or "I was told it works well" are two of the most common lines I spit out every day.

You would be close to GOD status if you could find a website that has details on what happens to each and every single one of the MK characters after each game...that would be really really off the hook...because I dunno what happens to each one after MK 2.

Also, you guys are kind of half right...you can use weapons, but you don't have to. And you have all sorts of different fighting styles at your disposal, and you can switch between them on the fly.
