I've seen the Doom3 AVI where John Carmack talks about the game, and how it's going to be a quantum leap in FPS's. He also mentions how the modding communities are going to have a lot to work with when Doom3 comes out. I guess that could mean a lot of things...that's all he said.

no the avi of the gameplay ... of a guy playing the first level and being shot at and walls breaking open and monsters eating dead people that get up and turn into zombies

its shot from a shaky camcorder but it looks amazing theres no talking just the game sound its about 10min long and 50 megs


it makes every bit of hype believable when you actually see the game

RPG's Rock

RPG addict for me, the run and shoot games are a little boring after playing them. The RPG's give puzzles to be solved, mazes to complete, etc.

I just went and rented Spiderman for my PS2...i'm looking for a mindless game. It was between that and Time Splitters 2, and since i'm a superhero junkie, i took this one.

As for Doom3, holy shit that game looks GREAT. it'll melt my Laptop though, i'd need a new card for graphics and everything...so i dunno if i'll buy it...but i really want it.

On the topic of RPG's, i friggin HATE them. too much work involved i guess. I dunno, too much effort and stuff, i just can't stand them.

I've been a gamer since way back when.

I want a game that has a strong woman character and not one with big tits or is only 12 or so.

Even the gamers magazines are geared toward guys.

Okay my rant is done.

Back on the KI subject... I was a big fan, me and my mate went through the game and found the Ultra's, fatalities etc. for every character, and even the best combo's for each one .

I loved that game too...I mastered Orchid, even the special finish when she gets her tits out....still my fave finishing move ever!

One other thing. I swear I will go out and buy any system that comes out with an EA or 989 NLL (National Lacrosse League) game that is NOTHING like Blast Lacrosse for the PSX. If one of those sport game gods were to come out with an actual NLL game I would buy whatever system it was released on for the sole purpose of owning the NLL game.

Blast Lacrosse was pretty good.. I was impressed considering it was one of the only of it's kind..

But the next LAX game has to have the Calgary Roughnecks! A NLL game on XBox would rock!

I have to agree with that. Maybe the first week is cool and all, but by the middle of the second week you kind of get tired of it.

Brood wars is pretty good though. It took me a long while to get tired of that game. I don't have it any more or I'd still play it.

btw.. the only reason I am pissed off at Xbox is because Kingdom Hearts won't be available! I am a big Disney fan and thought the whole concept of the game was a very cool one.

I agree with that....I loved WarCraft and WarCraft II, but WarCraft III just didn't hold my interest. Maybe because it took them too long to come out with a sequel.

My wife is the same exact way...she tends to take over any game that I get. Of course, I'm not complaining. My friends that are married all have wives that hate games. My friends hate me because my wife buys games more than I do. LOL

Mutant League Football was pretty damn cool.. So was Mutant League Hockey.

Genisis doesn't get much mention here, but it was a pretty cool system as well!

btw, tommorow I get EA's NHL 2003 .. I wasn't gonna get it, but I've been told to pick it up by friends who own it on PS and PC

I never played Mutant League Hockey, but I bet I would have laughed just as hard. I got a kick out of how you could fart and distract the opposing team. What can I say, I have a wierd sense of humor.
