Not that it's a bad thing of course, just poking some good-natured fun. That guy whose name I don't remember-yes, Vice City is very good, I'm playing it currently. OMG..Worm, you should have came in tonight. I was so friggin nice to everyone it wasn't funny. If you buy the Xbox live kit you get a demo of Whacked and I didn't know if it was in the box, so I said "When you buy this you are supposed to get Whacked right?" then I laughed and said "That sounded so wrong" The guy buying it said "Well, If I'm gonna get Whacked then I don't want it. But Then again you are a girl so...." I just laughed and said "It's already in the box, so feel free to go home, install it, and whack away"

Games I've played lately:

Ghost Recon (XBOX) - Really fun, if you're into FPS games and have a sliver of patience. 've been a fan of the Rainbox 6 series of games for years and this one's quite entertaining. Don't expect to run around gung-ho and win the game - it does take some finesse. But not so much that you want to pull your hair out. I haven't even tried the single player, just split screen multiplayer, but it's definitely worth a look.

TimeSplitters 2 (XBOX) - Didn't enjoy it one bit.

Sega GT (XBOX) - Less customizable, prettier version of Gran Turismo 3. Fewer cars, fewer tracks, too, but it's still an excellent game. Quite a bit of fun, too. The XBox controllers really outshine the PS2 when you play this game - you use the triggers to control speed and it works out beautifully. The game gets a little tedious near the end of the single player GT mode, as you tend to beat the crap out of the AI opponents and start to really notice the lack of track variety. But it's still a lot of fun single player and especially multiplayer.

Splinter Cell (XBOX) - Only started playing it tonight, but it's a gorgeous game. Beautiful graphics, but I'm still iffy about how much I like it. Possibly too much patience involved for an old FPS Twitch Gamer.

Finally, I spot a thread where I have a clue. Even though I don't own any system.

Hehe, yeah, people seem to notice I talk a lot, hell if you ever notice in IM's I type essays too, hehe.

Now, I dunno if I mentioned this, I know I did on my site, but here's what the "great" people at head office have just decided is good business.

Change the package deals late Thursday... in time for fricking Friday morning (yup... thanks so much there head office).

Now we go from - PS2, any game of £39.99 with £20 off, and two games of £39.99 with £10 off each.

to... - PS2, the games we say, for hardly anything off.

dur.... *scratches his head* so... we change the deals because the profit margin is better... well like my manager said, there's one thing having a low profit margin but lots of consoles being sold, it's another having a high profit margin when no fucker wants to buy the thing... apparently Friday morning Brian (manager) could have sold 3 of the old package deals no problem. But he can't shift these new ones.

More importantly, what sales pitch can we use other than "Well, the deals we can do for you are this, this, this, this, this, and this, and you have no say in what you take home".

Bleh, okay, and here's something funnier, for the package deals we attach the cases to the consoles, so have a laugh at this one...

FIVE PS2 games on the PS2 console, okay if that's not bad enough, how about a Gamecube, an extra controller, Super Monkey Balls (or whatever the hell it's called) and Wrestlemania X8... WTF!? How in the hell are we supposed to fit that on there? More importantly, why get a console with two games which are complete opposites of each other?

I'm thinking of checking out the new Mortal Kombat today. And Rygar...diskarmor looks sweet. Anyone played Spyhunter? It's pretty cool and on all the systems.

Let me know how Rygar is. I vaguely remember playing that on my NES years ago but I do remember it was good. I'm glad to see some old classics being remade into 3d.

Well as much as I hate to say I told ya so, but I'll be damned if TIto didn't toss Kenneth one hell of a beating. But I have to give Ken credit, he didn't tap or anything, he just got beat up so damn bad the ref had to stop it. Oh well. Better luck next time.

Come on then, all bow down to my greatness, after complaining about those PS2 package deals I manage to sell no less than SIX Playstation 2's in my 5 hour shift the other day. I am so totally the man! . Especially as I think the only other PS2 was sold by Rich that day.
