Well that is an argument that can go either way lostsoul.

As an Xbox owner, I'd love to be able to play games like Kingdom Hearts and GTA... But I know a few PS2 owners who would like to own Halo and Dead To Rights..

Besides, not all games are for everyone. I happen to be huge into sports games but not much into shoot-em-ups, so to tell me that PS2 is better because it has Metal Gear Solid it doesn't really matter much in my books.

PS2 has the MOST games, but better? I dunno...and i've GOT PS2, lol. I'm still a firm believer in the PS2 though...ta hell with the XBox, screw that bastard Bill Gates, he's getting enough of my money as it is with my damn laptop's programs

LT, i too saw the preview for Smackdown 4, and it looks like its friggin WCW backstage assault or something. Did you see how Angle got thrown into a van which exploded? WTF!?!?! It looks wicked bunk, i dunno about it...i know LD is gonna come on here and talk about how great its gonna be, then talk about the create a wrestler feature, then tell us how good his alter-ego wrestler is.... But still, i dont think i'm gonna get it...looks too goofy, and i bet the control scheme sucks again.

And just kidding LD, ya know i dont mean anything by that.

Sadly, I have no PS2, but from what I've heard, SD4 is going to blow most other wrestling games out of the water (however.... it's STILL going to be a damned beat-em up, not a wrestling sim... I hate that!).

Now... as for the X-Box's Raw 2, we have no idea what the music support is, if its just a case of listening to the music while beatem the living hell outta your opponent... well it's a crappy feature, I always turn off in game music and turn my PC's mp3 player up.

If it's the themes thing which would own... let's just pray to God that those graphics change... it looks like my 6 year old cousin drew the damned wrestlers.. I mean, since when did Taker look like a zombie? Rock looks like he's got two damned black eyes.

With SD4, I have seen nothing of it (no ads, no previews, just the back of the box). However, it looks great (looks visually better than the X-Box... hopefully THAT'S why they arn't releasing the Raw 2 yet, because the graphics are stinking highly), and if it's like an updated SD2, then it will basically be a great game.

Of course, unless I actually play both games, my opinion is only through "what I've heard", although my guess is they can't make a worse Raw game for the X-Box... but hey you always have Legends of Wrestling... hang on...

As long as there is a bit of a story mode this time though.. That's all that matters to me.

It's pretty damn cool isn't it? Kurt Angle's theme sounds awesome.. Triple H's game theme is great.. And it is awesome to listen to Ultimate Warrior's theme.

The sad thing is... that is a correct statement, to me, I don't care, graphics or not, I still say one of the best games I ever played was Elite... and that game you had ships you could see through (nothing inside the ship... the ship was just made of lines), and the main screen you saw, was a screen with text on it as you bought stuff and sold stuff.

But these days, bad graphics means no sale... unfortunately.

NFL 2K3 has come as close as I've ever seen.. And even then not all players (McNabb's for sure) doesn't look anything like the real life counterpart.

fifa 2002 did pretty well... like you could pick out some famous players just by the face alone.... 2003 isbetter, so i've heard (bearing in mind they have to cover 1000s of players)

*coughs* If Rocky's face is spot on... you must love to watch him on the crapper... he looks like he's constipated.

As for Taker's face looking a little off? It looks nothing like him. If they want detailed graphics, they should get the face right... I admit the arena looks great, but that's generally still images.

Also, about HHH, this is one picture... his face might look different when he's not screaming.

The only thing that will actually make or break this game though, is gameplay, if the cock that up (which nobody knows about yet) then the game will stink. I just saw those graphics though... and the faces on Taker & Rock are so badly off it's stupid.

Gameplay has to be good above all.. It's the reason I got tired of Raw to begin with. I want something that I'll have to work at for a few months at least before I unlock everything.

About graphics

I have a friend who borrowed Metal Gear Solid 2 from me...said he liked it until the end got kind of silly. I told him to at least rent the first one, because it was so good...he wouldn't, because of the inferior graphics. I think it's just stupid of a lot of new console owners to not like older games because they're not as flashy as the newer ones. I mean, even if a game looks like gold, and the gameplay is bad, the game is still a turd, just a prettier one.

Heh, well the thing is, if the wrestling game stinks, it's simple, ya don't buy it, or ya buy it and take it back. I think Legends Of Wrestling 2 is coming out on X-Box (and before anyone says the first one sucked, the 2nd might be good, ya have no idea). So ya could always buy that.

I am now currently playing Alundra. Its a great game and its pretty hard. I also own the Japanese version and beat that so I think I can handle an English version.

Has anybody seen the commercials for "Legaia 2", the sequel for "Legend of Legaia". It looks really really kick ass. LoL 1 kicked total ass with a really cool battle system where you had to do controller movements to do special moves and link those moves for awsome combos. But this second one looks fawkin awsome. I think that when I get me PS2 I'll be picking up FFX and Legaia 2 first off.

Never really got around to playing it tho.
