It was a good game. The story is told in flashback form. Gabe and Lian are in a closed congressional hearing as to what happened in The Agency, and the gameplay is the mission that they met in, and how they first came into contact with the Syphon Filter Virus, Rhoemer, and Aramov. There is also a nice surprise at the end for anyone who finished SF2.

sounds awesome!!!...my favorite weapon, and the one with the best range and most incapacitating ability...was the stun gun/taser...lol...'specially when you can hold the charge long enough to ignite the target!!! lol

Shadows of Destiny...for PS2 is another great game...you can actually use time travel (down to 1-minute intervals, i believe) to solve the mystery of your own murder...you quickly learn that even the slightest detail not considered when you travel can change the outcome on a global scale...very intriguing indeed...

That and the K3G4 with the teflon-coated bullets were my favorite weapons.

i remember learning Gabe's little dodge roll to stay out of harm's way...lol...that was tricky to learn at first...

It's Official for Deus Ex: Invisible War.
Despite the controversy about its Xbox roots (the sequel, not the original), Tech TV has rated Deus Ex: IW as #1 for the year for the PC :nana: :nana:

The interface sucks but the story line carries this game far and away.

another fun game was a first person shooter...for PS one, called, Disruptor...you didn't just have an array of firearms to use...you could actually acquire and develop a number of psychic powers to help you in your quests as well...

pretty cool game, and some creepy looking aliens..lol...

i'm thinking about getting an original 8-bit nintendo again...lol...just can't get over Super Mario Bros...

I actually never got rid of mine, though I did rid of a number of games. I have managed to buy back a few on Ebay, like the two Zelda games and Battletoads. Never got rid of my MegaMan games, thankfully. Can't believe I so carelessly got rid of my Tengen version of Tetris, not fully realizing how valuable it was as a collectors item (it was published without the rights, and thus illegal and was recalled).

Never had the Mario games on NES, but I have been buying their re-releases over the years, like the collection on SNES (which was stolen), and again on GameBoy Color and GameBoy Advanced.

Hehe Battletoads was an awesome game.

My fav. Nintendo game was probably Super Sprint (the racing game)

I too never sold my NES or any of the game for it. I have every Nintendo systym ever made. I also have an Atari, with games.
I have a PS and a PS2, but I refuse to buy an X box. My kids want one, but I have tried it and I don't really like it.
I recently got FF X-2. Has anyone tried it?

Super Mario All Stars on SNES kicked ass. I still have my SNES and many many cartridges (sp?? It's way to early in the morning for spelling) for the system.... somewhere *L*.

thats a big pile of poop :)

theres no way deus ex 2 is number one game of the year ... its the number 1 let down of the year ... they removed all the good things about the first one and x-boxed it :(

its not a terrible game but it should of been a much better game if it was designed for the pc market

Snicker, that is usually the attitude for female gamers.

Anyone tried the new Sims game? I loved the first one.

And FF X-2 is cool, the online FF game seems to take forever though.

I don't like the story line or music for FF X-2, but the new battle system is awsome. I rented it once, said I didn't like it, but rented it a second time to beat it (even it's just normal ending), but I think I may need to rent a third time to even get that.

Personally, the story line seems a bit soft. Its like they lightened it up, but of course that is only my opinion.

I like the new battle system too, I haven't played much of it only 20 hours or so, just levelling up, that kind of thing. So I haven't seen much of the storyline yet.

oh yeah.. and only three characters?? What's up with that??

And why and/or how could Yuna and Rikku suddnely forget the whole Al-Bhed language? Why must I scour Sphera looking for those dammed primers again? Why coulden't they just translate it for your right off the get go? Geeze.

Yes that is a great big pain in the ass, isn't it?:(

XIII is a fucking great game. I got it for the PC (Only because it was 16 bucks off at Sams Club) and I'm on mission 9 so far out of 34 or 39 or so. Soooooo freaking good...don't let the cell shading fool you, this is a great game.

And speaking of Super Marios....I actully OWN a video of a guy beating Super Mario Bros. 3 in 11:02 with out getting hit once and getting 99 lives in the process. Just freaking amazing.

Sick dude.

About a year ago I downloaded some of the Super Mario games for a PC emulator. I could still remember all of the shortcuts to finish the game in about 15 minutes.

Damn I miss 2d games a lot but I've been loving True Crime on the PS2. It's what a 3D game should be IMHO. That and Wolfenstein have been in heavy rotation.
