The announcement that 65 year old Harrison Ford will star in the fourth and last Indiana Jones movie, had me wondering what a suitable title might be. How do these sound?
Indiana Jones and the Catheter of Doom
or
Raiders of the Lost Depends
The possibilities are endless.

ROFLMAO

Ever have a day where you feel like you are locked in a dark roomwith just the hint of light somewhere on the outside but you not only can't find the door, but haven't a clue where to even start looking...I am having one of thise days. Usually manage to keep it a quite murmur in the back of my mind but perhaps my feeling a lot healthier today has provided the energy to bring back that voice which keeps asking why and how and when and if. 'Scuse me while I scream a little please.

I'm having one of those days where I don't feel like it's me. Like this is all a dream, and I'm gonna wake up and be 12 and still stuck with my mother. Actually that's been going on for a couple of days.

I've found myself having far too many days just like Grace and Cat's lately. Self-medicating with comic books and video games is as good of a solution as any. If I don't want to be here, I'll be elsewhere. But I have to be somewhere. Depending on how I parse it, this either makes me enlightened or adolescent. Or maybe it's wisdom like a child, a Zen thing. Either way, I'll sip my coffee quietly, keep listening to old Stones albums, and wait to figure out whether I'm a man dreaming I'm a butterfly, or a butterfly dreaming I'm a man.

Fortunately today I seem to have felt better than I have in so long I can't remember. While it won't solve the weight on my mind constantly, it is giving me the energy to keep a little more positive about future possibilities. Here's hoping for a miracle or 2.:D

Hope yours is improving, and if it helps, if you are in a dream I am there also!

Congratulations on the invitation to keynote, and also on the award if that occurs!

Thank you.

The speech was a huge success. Many waited afterwards to shake my hand and let me know that it was worth the 2500.00 price tag of the conference to hear what I had to say.

Both the Vice President and the CEO of the company who was hosting the conference shook my hand and told me how impressed they were with not only my speech but with all we had done with the website.

After my speech we all went to lunch, then we attended the All-star awards, which they ran like the emmys in that they announced three nominations from 100s of possible winners for 20 specific categories. We were nominated for the best online community category and we won.

It was a special moment when Ed (the vice president) spoke up, you could have heard a pin drop across the room after what he said truly registered on all that were there. YOu see most of the people here at the conference obviously are larger corporations and many of the platnuim and gold partnering developing companies have huge development teams with 100s of thousands of dollars for developing budgets. When he explained that 2 people, with less than 25k, in a period of less than 4 months developed the site, you could literally see people's jaws dropping in disbelief. After that moment of pause, there was a tremendious applause which I could tell was heartfelt.

Afterwards many of the other developers waited in order to come shake my hand out of respect and to just let me know how amazing it was to have accomplished all that we did.

It really was a special and partly an emotional moment for me as there was a lot of pride and humility hitting me all at once. The realization of it all just seemed too much to take in. It will forever be a special moment that I will always carry with me.

Ordinarily I probably wouldn't even register on the radar of many of these men and women who lead technology development teams and companies of fortune 400 and 500 companies, but this day they each took turns shaking my hand to let me know that I had earned their admiration and respect.

I think I am going to take a walk in the park as the sun sets and just enjoy all that has happened.
