the Un-Hijackable, Non Sequitur, Rambling Thread

The name says it all. If it doesn't fit anywhere else, put it here. I started it because I've frequently had a comment from another thread that was totally non related to the topic at hand, and wasn't really a smart ass remark, and wasn't quite a blurt, and wasn't really anything.

So the first official non sequitor...

After nearly matching RR's fascism quotient, I googled on Buffy character quizzes... Not sure why; if I did, this wouldn't be a non sequitur, would it? Should I be worried that the character I most resemble is Drusilla, and my dream date on the other quiz I found was Spike?

:(

Maybe I shouldn't worry, and just paste a warning on my forehead instead..

Speaking of glowing foreheads, I feel like my whole head is glowing at the moment from all the coughing. Not a good look!

Do I have to say it with an American accent like that?

God, I love the Irish brogue! I could listen to it for hours... incredibly sexy!

Have you ever wondered what hell it must be to live in a Scandinavian country, where they have all those accents over letters? Imagine all of the additional crap you have to go through to type them!

no i have never wondered that 'til now.

Er, KC... a non-sequitor is where the conversation takes a sudden leap or heads off at a complete right angle to where it was going previously.

Speaking of which, I also want to practice my Irish directions. "Now if you go down the left road, then turn right before you reach the hill, you'll get to a pub and shortly afterwards you'll run out of road. So don't go that way. But if you keep going and turn left a little later, then go until you've reached another pub, you know you've gone too far. So come back a bit..."

Cyrillic keyboards suck.

We may have to buy some vacuum cleaner filters -- my lover's oldest boy has an allergin rating about 10x that of a normal person (we just had him tested), and he's allergic to dust mites.

*bats my pretty subbie eyelashes* i woulda never known thats what it meant.

btw....you mispelled it

I've never liked mandarins though. I occasionally eat oranges, but mandarins just don't do it for me for some reason. Bananas and apples are mostly what I eat. Grapes and passion fruit are favourites as well. Oh, and berries. Strawberries are the best!

Hmmm... stonefruit occasionally as well, I guess.

Well, bugger me rotten with a banana!

Well, you're the Dom and if you really want me to I will...

Wish your yucky flu was better, and that I could afford long distance so I could hear your sexy gravelly flu voice...

Normally I have a tenor, but I'm strictly baritone at the moment.

Not sure about my Kiwi accent though. Although one Texan lady I had a fling with years ago loved it to bits. Go figure.

Man, I have heard some of the WORST Australian accents. I do miss Sydney though.

Australian Navel Oranges.. *nods sagely* those are sooo good.
I eat lots of berries, melons, and certain kinds of apples like Gala, Granny Smith, Pink Lady and Braeburn. I don't like apples that aren't at least a little tart

My favourite apple is the Pacific Rose. I think it's a cross between Gala and Braeburn.

You like tarts, huh?

My mother used to make sourkraut, which I loved! So I worked out how to make it a couple of years ago. I should experiment more though, because I didn't get it quite right.

That was the vinegar pickled type, not the brine-pickled type.
