What ever happened to the Coreys? Yes you read correctly. Corey Feldman and Corey Haim. Were they not the coolest guys in the eighties. I was watching the Lost Boys last night, and consequently I got to thinking about the Corey. Who but them could have given us such entertaining films as the Lost Boys, Stand by Me, The Goonies, and oh so many more memorable films. Am I the only one who misses them or do you guys think I could possibly have gotten my hands on some crack?

There sure were some good movies then! Ya know there's an episode of the Simpsons where Lisa has the mumps and has to miss school. Homer buys her some kind of Teen Dream style magazine... He asks her, "Hey, how many of these guys are named Corey anyway?" Her matter-of-fact reply was, "Eight!" Hee hee hee...

E! did a profile on him awhile back.I think he was in the film version of Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, but not totally sure. They both went through the drug/rehab thing, I seem to remember. My sister really liked them both, I thought they were kind of young, but then, I am old.

Funny you should ask. Corey Feldman has his own band and is touring right now. He was here in The Rock last weekend performing. Apparently he didn't do too well, as most of the crowd left in the middle of the show. *shrug* Whatever.

yes both of them went through the whole drug/booze/rehab thingy. Corey Feldman had appeared on several B-movies. And not very good at that.
As far as I know he is supposed to star in the "Amdromeda" TV series sometime soon.
He has a hard time finding decend movie roles, because he used to be the perfect example of a butt annoying little asshole. And movie producers do still avoid him.

Corey Haim is beginning to appear in movies again. And most of them WAY better than the ones Feldman has been in.
I must admit I can't remember any titles right now. But look it up on the net somewhere, and I'm sure you'll see

Both are supposingly through with drugs and stuff.

However, none of them appeared in the movie version of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"

I love the Coreys because they prove that the worst films of the 80s didn't just come from ex-Saturday Night Live comics.

Anyone ever see Meatballs 3 or 4 or whichever one starred that supremely untalented Feldman putz? He gives the single worst performance ever of someone who is supposed to be the funniest guy in the world. It's like the biggest idiot in your high school trying to be Bill Murray all the freakin time. You could cut the smarmy with a knife. Awful God awful.
