I think the real truth is that you trust someone, they lie to you, and fuck you over cause this is playing, this isn't real? RIght? Now come on ya'll, I've been meeting people online for the past 4 years now and in all of that time I have only met ONE person who has lied to me and screwed me over- and that would be Tantanah. And she wasn't well.

I have come know and love many people that I have met online and I wouldn't give that up for anything. People can screw you over in real life as well as online. And I'm not going to give up my basic faith in people out of fear.

I feel pretty much the same way. But, I don't think there's anything wrong with being a bit guarded either. Most of my online relationships develop behind the scenes, via phone calls and such. I've had to learn a few lessons, the hard way, in my two years on the internet interacting with people. Over all, it's been a pretty good experience. I've been burned worse in my everyday life.
