The rules:

WHEREAS, the stories of SweetWitch are highly rated, according to Marsh Alien, "because once you get to Chapter 65, the people who thought the story sucked stopped reading a long time ago"; and

WHEREAS, the stories of Marsh Alien are highly rated, according to SweetWitch, "because '5' is the last number that most of the readers of his so-called Mature stories can remember learning";

THEREFORE, it is decreed that there shall be a SweetWitch-Marsh Alien Feud Settlement Short Story Writing Contest, with the following Rules:

1. Marsh Alien shall write a story entitled "Forget the Drink, Gimme the Bitch."

2. SweetWitch shall write a story entitled "Forget the Bitch, Gimme A Drink."

3. Both stories shall be submitted to StoriesOnline and Literotica simultaneously.

4. The contest shall end at seven a.m. Central Standard Time on the third Monday following the day on which the latter of the stories is posted on
Literotica.

5. The winner shall be that author whose stories, at the time the contest closes, are the highest rated on both sites (using the Q score on SOL).

6. In the event that the outcome is split (i.e., that one is higher rated on one site, and the other higher rated on the other), Jenny Jackson shall, in her sole discretion, determine the outcome of the contest.

7. The loser shall publicly, albeit grudgingly, proclaim that the winner is the better writer. At least in this case. Sincerity is optional.

8. Both contestants shall remain free to beg, borrow, bribe, and beat as many votes as they can out of whoever they can find.

The stories have been submitted, and as Holmes would say, the game is afoot (I'm sure they will appear on Lit in the usual 72 hours - HAHAHAHAHAHA! Sorry. I know the eds. here work very hard). Judge Jackson is on board, although I am still waiting to find out if she was struck by lightning yesterday after praising a story on the Story Feedback Forum. She has thus far demonstrated her absolute integrity by refusing all of my attempts to bribe her.

but you have my e-mail address, right Jenny?

We have both taken extreme steps to lose this contest. Molly has eschewed her usual multi-chapter Romance stories for a story with catfighting and voyeurism. I've invaded her world, but submitted my story in Interracial Love, where I understand there is a very large bridge with entire familes of trolls living underneath. If you cannot bear to give our two stories different votes (because the voting system doesn't go below a "1"), or even if you can, please come back here and let Judge Jackson know which one you liked better. As long as it was mine.

I'll be waiting. And, of course, the good little witch will be fair. :cathappy:

Thank god you didn't ask me to judge. Since I've read both already, it'd be a hard thing to do. But of course, you can both count on me to give fair and impartial votes...and comments.

Well, let's not go overboard with this "fairness" stuff. Rule # 9 does not require absolute fairness. As John F. Kennedy said, "Life isn't fair." Did I mention that I accept private messages? You know, off the ublic-pay oard-bay?

So far, Marsh is kicking my butt on the other site, but I'm sure that once his loyal followers are done sabbotaging mine, I will still whoop his tail end...

(Actually, I've read his story and I'm scared.)

Dani,

Did I ever send you the revised version?

So, what are you promising for the big votes, Pal?

The score so far:

Marsh Alien--Forget the Drink, Gimme the Bitch=8.31
SweetWitch--Forget The Bitch, Gimme A Drink=7.90

You're scared? This is from my story:

We made love slowly, with a lot of stroking and kissing and licking, and perhaps just the tiniest bit of biting. It seemed to me that both of us took joy as much from each other's pleasure as from our own. When we finally climaxed, it had the sense of being a wave like those we could hear crashing against the rocks below us, a wave that had started far across the sea and slowly built in strength as it grew nearer and nearer.

This is from hers:

With a smug smile, Sean looked at her dirty hair ribbon with one end tied around the base of Phil's engorged cock. The other end was tied to the plumbing under the sink in such a way that Phil couldn't get his hands on it without bending down and causing himself even more pain. There wasn't enough slack in the line for him to be able to reach under the sink. Even if he could, there was no way the man was going to get the knots out of the wet cloth. She had trussed him up like a misbehaving dog.

What the hell are you scared of?

This is base and calumnious libel.

Psst. I can be bought, you know.

What part of "off the ublic-pay oard-bay" wasn't clear? She is a witch, you know. I am in so much trouble now.

I'm polishing my bad attitude and evil pen for this. :D
Be kind to me, Jenny. I hate to pull the sympathy card, but I might just be dying here with pneumonia. (Do you feel sorry for me yet?)

Giving away my plot? Buying votes like a Chicago politician? Accusing me of libel? I sneeze on you and your little story.

Marsh, I'm very fond of you, but yeah, you may be in trouble...

Yes, Lit may be slow, but at least they don't condone pedophilia...

Just letting you both know. Highest bidder wins. Kind of like an auction, but different.

Quite true. And neither do I. You didn't mean to suggest that I did, did you? Fortunately, the average age of the characters in my story is 45.75. Although that 83-year-old does bring the average up a little...

Kidding, I'm just kidding.

I want the popcorn concession for this......

I'll make a fortune of a dollar, two ninety eight, whichever comes first....

Hey, congrats on your Nude Day winner, Tx. It was a great story.

No, I wasn't suggesting that you condoned pedophilia. I was suggesting that SOL, and it's owner/operator condones pedophilia.

Thank You, Thank You Very Much.....

I know, I don't do the Elvis thing very well at all but it's the sentiment that counts..... ;)

Marsh, as much as I love your writing, you may indeed be in trouble. :D

Truly, I loved both stories. Proof that you are both excellent writers. :rose:

Or maybe just freedom of speech?
