Let the Games Begin!
The stories have been submitted, and as Holmes would say, the game is afoot (I'm sure they will appear on Lit in the usual 72 hours - HAHAHAHAHAHA! Sorry. I know the eds. here work very hard). Judge Jackson is on board, although I am still waiting to find out if she was struck by lightning yesterday after praising a story on the Story Feedback Forum. She has thus far demonstrated her absolute integrity by refusing all of my attempts to bribe her.
but you have my e-mail address, right Jenny?
We have both taken extreme steps to lose this contest. Molly has eschewed her usual multi-chapter Romance stories for a story with catfighting and voyeurism. I've invaded her world, but submitted my story in Interracial Love, where I understand there is a very large bridge with entire familes of trolls living underneath. If you cannot bear to give our two stories different votes (because the voting system doesn't go below a "1"), or even if you can, please come back here and let Judge Jackson know which one you liked better. As long as it was mine.
The rules:
WHEREAS, the stories of SweetWitch are highly rated, according to Marsh Alien, "because once you get to Chapter 65, the people who thought the story sucked stopped reading a long time ago"; and
WHEREAS, the stories of Marsh Alien are highly rated, according to SweetWitch, "because '5' is the last number that most of the readers of his so-called Mature stories can remember learning";
THEREFORE, it is decreed that there shall be a SweetWitch-Marsh Alien Feud Settlement Short Story Writing Contest, with the following Rules:
1. Marsh Alien shall write a story entitled "Forget the Drink, Gimme the Bitch."
2. SweetWitch shall write a story entitled "Forget the Bitch, Gimme A Drink."
3. Both stories shall be submitted to StoriesOnline and Literotica simultaneously.
4. The contest shall end at seven a.m. Central Standard Time on the third Monday following the day on which the latter of the stories is posted on
Literotica.
5. The winner shall be that author whose stories, at the time the contest closes, are the highest rated on both sites (using the Q score on SOL).
6. In the event that the outcome is split (i.e., that one is higher rated on one site, and the other higher rated on the other), Jenny Jackson shall, in her sole discretion, determine the outcome of the contest.
7. The loser shall publicly, albeit grudgingly, proclaim that the winner is the better writer. At least in this case. Sincerity is optional.
8. Both contestants shall remain free to beg, borrow, bribe, and beat as many votes as they can out of whoever they can find.
