Yeah, I had some sort of mini-stroke last night, lost the use of the left side of my body. Got the use back, but still feel weak and trembly...

I'm thinking if I should see the doctor, or wait a bit and see what happens.

I'm already on an aspirin regimen.

I also take medication specifically designed to prevent strokes.

Not a lot more can be done. I'm not sure what the doctor could do at this point. I suspect my regular doctor is incompetent and getting in to see your cardiologist is like pulling teeth; the only time he is going to pay you any attention is when you get admitted into the emergency room.

I have two types of posters to thank this morning.

To those who showed concern, I thank you. Everything seems to have passed and without immediate symptoms, there's not much that can be done, too much time had gone by to get any real diagnosis. There are a few lingering effects, but I feel as pert as a rutting buck.

To the second type, it is always nice to see you out yourself and your hatefulness and it might make some others here a little slower to praise your "humor."

They did a full stroke protocol on me 8hrs after and said that wasn't too late. It turned out not to be a stroke but still... Now I know about all my blood vessels in my brain!
