Well, after the silly picnic, and my afternoon piddling with chores, like fine-sanding the miscreant rifle stock and the slotted handguard, and laundry, and so on,

I went over to a friend's house and we grilled ribeyes which I had let marinate for a week.

We brought some (the Queen got a super-good deal) sweet corn from Swann's and sweet doesn't begin to cover it's buttered and salted goodness.

I didn't plant corn this year because it takes up too much space, produces too little and attracts the furry-tailed tree rats...

The electric panel tried to kick my ass. Turns out the main breaker was about to break, literally, and I looked at it cross-eyed. Also, today is the day that my multi-meter decided to die, too. After three trips to Lowe's for various things, I have every circuit in the house working. One I rarely use had been out for awhile, now. So the A/Cs are in and working, too.
