Reminds me of a line from My Name is Earl.

Earl has been sent to prison for confessing to a crime he did not commit to protect his former wife. He runs across an old friend and asks him why such and such.

His friend responds with, you know what I've discovered? There's a lot of guys in here without clearly thought-out plans...

:D :D :D

Happy Tuesday!!!

Up again. I have a couple of resumes to send out this morning. I got the list of names and numbers from my contractor buddy. I called the first name on the list, and he referred me to his co-worker. We chatted a bit, and he wants to do a meet-n-greet later this week. So, we'll see.

I don't want to have to write first thing, but it's better than some things.

One out the door already . . . .

Yeah, I had some sort of mini-stroke last night, lost the use of the left side of my body. Got the use back, but still feel weak and trembly...

I'm thinking if I should see the doctor, or wait a bit and see what happens.

That's the good think about summer vacation.

Someone will be home.

Jesus.
He's right. You should start daily aspirin and see your doc. Asap, instead of waiting for the permanent one.

Unless it's one of your jokes, of course.

I'm already on an aspirin regimen.

I also take medication specifically designed to prevent strokes.

Not a lot more can be done. I'm not sure what the doctor could do at this point. I suspect my regular doctor is incompetent and getting in to see your cardiologist is like pulling teeth; the only time he is going to pay you any attention is when you get admitted into the emergency room.

Go see a good doctor then or to the A&E.
It shouldn't have happened, and you don't have to be a doctor to realise that what you had is extremely worrisome. Don't wait for the big one to set in.

It's getting hard to find doctors that will take new patients, one of the features of the ACA that was never properly explained to us. If I don't get better this morning, I'll check into the emergency room. It's not like I haven't blacked out before.

Go to the fucking doctor, pronto, by ambulance to the hospital if nothing else.

Silly fucker.

Don't know what the hell an A&E is...

Here it means the Arts and Entertainment channel.

Emergency Department.
Here they call them Accident and Emergency. People either go to the free one (A&E) or to the paid one (Urgent Doctors or some other name).

The vote appears to be by acclimation.

Don't be stubborn.

I'm wagering that you haven't told Queenie about this.
