The Secret Mansion ((Open For 1 Male))

She smiled at him as she ate her orange, listening to him, yet every time he turned away, her eyes would dart down to look at his exposed chest. lf she wasn't terrified that he would leave, she would have reached out and ran her hands over him, just to get a hint of what he felt like. "Well, l don't really like being alone in this house, so... if you don't mind..." She didn't want to see like she scared, she just had no desire to let him leave quite yet.

Cassie cocked her head to the left. "Y-you don't go out in the sun? Why? The sunlight is amazing! It love when it's hot. l go to the lake and l swim for hours." She told him happily. "I guess you could go swimming at night, but l can't say how that is. l've never done it." She asked him, "So, why don't you like the sun? Do you burn?"

He would look at her then turn his head and look around the house. "I do not mind at all dear one. I rather enjoy your company."

He turned his gaze back to her. "No I do not go out into the sun. I prefer the moonlit nights to make my travels and searches." A smile crawls over his face and his eyes seem to flicker. "Haha. Yes my dear. You could say that I burn rather quickly from being in the sun so it is better if I don't go."

She bit her lip when he told her he did burn. "To bad, l really enjoyed hanging out with you. But as you know, l'm not allowed out after dark." She let her head fall back. "I guess we'll just have to hang out when it's raining... or..." She peeked at him. "You can meet my mother. If she likes you, l'm sure she'd allow you to hang out here." She got an idea. "Then again... you could show me your house."

Suddenly, she turned her head to the door, hearing the sound a foot steps walking through puddles. "Mothers home, so." Cassie looked back at Marcus as she stood up. "What would you lile to do? Meet my mother, or wait?" She asked with a grin on her face.

He smiled at her. "I have enjoyed...uhh...how did you put it...hanging out with you as well my dear. And I would love for you to visit my dwelling soon."

He had noticed the sound of footsteps before she did but choose to remain silent on the matter. "I would enjoy meeting your mother as well if she is as cordial as you have been." He stood from the chair and waited next to he table watching for the door to swing open.

"l'm going to hold you on that." she told him, giving him a flashy grin when he said he wanted her to visit his place soon. When he agreed to meet her mother, she looked away and bit her lip. "Umm, well if your looking for her to be anything like me, you'll be... disappointed." She pushed her hands over her dress, fixing it up right before the door opened up and her mother stepped through, a smile on her face.

When she looked up, her eyes laid on me, "Cassie, l got this great deal on vegetables and fruit. The meat was a tad bi..." Her voice slowly trailed off when she saw Marcus standing there. "Who the hell is that?" She asked, dropping her things on the floor. "And why is he wearing those clothes? Those are you brothers and your fathers! Why are they on him!?" She asked. She was obviously upset.

Cassie kept the smile on her face though. "Mom, calm down a little. This is Marcus. He lives here in the woods, on the other side of the pond. l met him-"

"Wow! Wow! Wow! You went to the other side of the pond? And talked to a complete stranger? Cassie what did l tell you? Those were two of the few rules l gave you and you broke them?" Her mother shutmthe door and walked over to her, peeking at Marcus as she did. "We'll talk about this later." sge said in a whisper when she reached her. Then she looked at Marcus.

"Look, l don't know you and Cassie's not suppose to talk to people she doesn't know." She looked over him. "Look, l think you should leave. You have no business here, especially with me daughter. Who, might l add is probably about 10 years younger then you are."

He looked at Cassie as they stood and she mentioned she would hold him to it. "I certainly hope you do my dear. I feel it would be quite an....ahhh....experience for you."

He stood expressionless as he watched her mother's reaction to him being here and having on the clothes. He stayed silent as she walked across the floor to Cassie and told him to leave. He began speaking in his calm, charming voice with his almost hypnotizing tone.

"Madam, I assure you that I mean no disrespect to your household or the memory of your loved ones by being here or having on these clothes. As you're daughter mentioned, my name is Marcus. I was in the lake and I met Cassie there on the edge. She simply stated that she had some dry clothes as to not wanting me to catch a sickness. In regards to my age, that does not matter. I will however take my leave if that's what you desire. I extended an invitation to Cassie to visit my dwelling soon and would now extend that same courtesy to you."

Noticing that the sun had went down and dusk was settling across the woods, he began walking to the door and as he reached it and began opening it he turned around with a glare passing over his eyes that Cassie hadn't seen before.

"I certainly hope to see the both of you very soon"

Cassie and her mother both watched him, her mother with a glare, Cassie with a sorry expression on her face. She thought her mother would do something like this, but really hoped she wouldn't. When he invited her mother to come to his house as well, Cassie frowned a bit. The last two days of just being the two of them had been so much fun, a bit on the creepy side, but very fun! If her mother went to with them she would ruin it... if it was ruined already.

When he stopped and turned back to them, she bit her lip, while he mouth said, "Don't get your hopes up." Mother might be scared of the woods, but she was tough when she needed to be, which she sadly choosed to be now when a godly man was standing in front of them.

"Mother!" Cassie pushed out of her grip and walked over to Marcus. Her voice dropped, "I'm sorry. I'll... l'll try to talk to her. Hopefully l can see your dwelling in a few days." She told him, giving him a tiny, reasurring smile. After a moment, she backed up and waved. "See ya." She moved back to her mother, only to have her point to her room. "Really? You chose now to treat me like a child?" She thought, but with a huff, moved to her bedroom.

When Cassie's door gad closed, her mother looked at Marcus. "Leave. Now!"

Marcus still stood in the doorway as Cassie came to him and whispered then she went back towards her mother as she pointed Cassie towards her room. He watched as Cassie went into the room and then closed the door then his gaze turned back to her mother as she told him to leave.

With the quickness that only he possessed he came across the room before she had a chance to scream and grabbed ahold of her. Holding her arm with his left hand, his right hand went up and grabbed the front of her neck lifting her head up and looked deep into her eyes and saw the fear within her.

"Madam....I can see your fear and I sincerely suggest that you calm down and never speak to me that way again. I have power that you would not believe and if Cassie wants to see me and my house, I believe it unwise that you stand in her way."

He leaned in closer to her ear and whispered still seeing her eyes out of the corner of his and watching them and her reaction as she listened to him unable to speak with the grip he had on her throat.

"I would hate for you to find the same fate as your dear husband and son. Do not tell Cassie of this conversation. I will be listening."

With his final words he turned and left the house with his speed which swung the door shut as he passed through.

She stood there for a moment, stqring at the closed door before falling to one knees, completely shocked by what had just happened. Her heart was pounding in her chest, her breathing was coming fast and... and... "Oh god," She moved her shaky hand up to her neck and rubbed where Marcus' hand hand been just moments ago when he was standing so close. The feeling of up coming tears filled her, but she tried to hold them back, just in case Cassie didn't listen, again and come out.

"Cassie." Her heart sunk and she let her head fall forward. That man knew what happened to her loved ones, he was most likely the man that did it! "Cassies hanging out with a... a..." Tears ran down her face as she remembered his speed. "Vampire."

"Mother," She turned and saw her daughter standing there, eyes wide as she watched her cry. "I-l'm sorry, l broke your rules. l didn't mean to upset you." Cassie walked over to her and kneed beside her. "I wont see him anymore if you don't want me too."

"NO!" she quickly said. Cassie looked at her mother cinfused as she wiped her eyes and stood up. "No Cassie, it's okay. You can see him..., but only if l'm around. l don't want you near him without me."

"But-"

"No, but's Cassie. You heard me. You may only see gim when l'm around. No-now... go back to your room like l told you!" She snapped.

Cassie stared at her, worry clear on her face before she nodded. "Yes mom." She slowly turned away and returned to her bedroom.

After he dashed out of the house so quick and reached the edge of the woods he slowed and made his way through the woods to his house feeding along the way. His anger built up at the way Cassie's mother had acted towards him. He had had no choice but to scare her. She could ruin all of his plans if she stood in the way of what he wanted.

He eventually made it to his house and walked in looking around at the walls. "Ahhh my safe haven. Soon these walls will be filled with the glow of my dear Cassie."

He watched as the late night began turning into morning. Once he noticed the skies remaining cloudy and overcast he smiled to him self. "Yet another day I don't have to stay inside."

He began leaving his house out into the woods making his way back towards Cassie and her mother's house returning the clothing of her father and brother. He reached the edge of the woods at their house. While their voices weren't distinct, he could hear them talking inside. He made his way to the door and knocked three times and waited.

Cassie pulled her dress up and off, letting it fall to the floor before going to her wardrobe and pulling out one of her night gowns she had made herself. It was a light blue, silk dress that stopped just above her knees. Something her mother didn't like her wearing, but Cassie really didn't like having to wear those long ones while she slept. She sighed and walked to her bed, falling in and staring up at the ceiling, confused. Sure she had disobeyed a few of her rules, but Marcus was nice to her. A bit odd and mysterious, but in a really hot way that made her heart beat faster. She couldn't understand why her mother would be so upset that she would actually cry about it.

She rolled over, moving her hand up to grab the necklace that hung around her neck. "Maybe she'll be better in the morning." She closed her eyes and slowly drifted off, trying to forget that her mother was crying in the other room. Instead, her mind was on Marcus.

The next morning, Cassie got up to something shaking her back and fourth. "Uhhh, wh-what is it?" she groaned, pushing her hand down to push away what ever was shaking her. After a moment, the shaking continued. With a load groan, she rolled over and opened her eyes, seeing her mother standing there, a smile on her face. "Well... that a turn around." Cassie thought as she sat up. "M-morning?"

"Morning baby." She stood up straight. "Pack up some of your clothes Cassie, we're going on a trip." Her mother announced. "Wait, before you say anything, l know what your going to say. Why a trip? Why now?" She said, mocking her daughters voice. "Well, we haven't taken one in so long. l thought it might be fun. Just you and me. We can go where ever y-"

"Stop! Stop!" Cassie held up her hands. " Does this have anything to do with Marcus?" She asked, watching as her mother bit her bit and looked away, nervously. "That's what l thought." Cassie climbed out of bed and went toher wardrobe, grabbing her silk robe out of it. She pulled it on as someone knocked on the door. "I'm going to get that. Y-you stay here and we can talk... later."

Cassie walked out of her room, running her fingers through her wavy hair as she headed to the door. Before opening it up, she pulled her robe closed then pulled it open. "Marcus?" Her voice showed her shock and she looked back at her room before dropping her voice. "Marcus, l don't think you should be here. Not after yesterday night." She whispered.

Marcus stood there as the door opened. When it swung wide he saw Cassie standing there in her night clothes as she mentioned last night a flash went through him. "Good morning dear one. Last night? What do you mean? Did something happen after I departed?"

He raised the clothes and stepped in through the doorway no longer needing to be invited after Cassie had already taken care of that issue. He walked past Cassie and over next to the table. He looked into the bedroom and saw her mother standing in the middle of the floor staring at him. "Good morning madam. I made this visit to return your husband and son's clothing and to invite Cassie and yourself to visit my house for the day. It seems that you are possibly getting ready to take leave somewhere?" He looked from Cassie's mother to Cassie and back. When his eyes landed on her mother the second time a glare passed over his eyes that he knew only she could see from where she was standing.

"Uhh morning." She stepped aside as he walked in. "Yeah, my mother kind of freaked out." She answered him before looking in her room, seeing her mother stand up from the bed and walk to the doorway, but not stepping through. Her eyes went back to him and she pulled the robe tighter before she pushed the door shut behind her. "Are you always up early?"

When he addressed her mother, she nodded her head. Her heart was beating hard in her chest and all she wanted to do was grab her daughter and leave before this man could do anything to harm her. She wasn't really worried about herself. His attention seemed to be all on her daughter. When he asked if they were going to leave, she took a deep breath and nodded, finally working up the courage to walk out of her daughters room. "Thank you for being me back there clothes." She told him, reaching out and taking them from him.

Cassie spoke up when her mother unfolded the clothes and inspected them, like she was looking for any rips or tares. "She wants to take me on a trip." "Really, l think it's to get away from you." "But... l'd love to go to your house!" She quickly added, looking at her mother as she groaned before looking back at him. "Mother and l can go on a trip any other time."

He turned and looked back at Cassie. Even though he knew the evil inside of him his gaze aways seemed to soften whenever he looked at her. "Yes dear one. I am always up early. The more you come to know me, the more you will find that I require much less sleep that what you are accustomed to."

He handed the clothes to her mother and watched as she unfolded and inspected the pieces. "Madam, I can assure you the clothes have been returned just as they were. I am much appreciative and would never damage anything that I did not....ahhh....consider mine."

He listened as Cassie postponed the trip with her mother and a slight smile crossed his face thinking to him self 'I may be able to influence this young one more than I thought.' Marcus truned and began walking towards the door keeping eye contact with her mother who was now finished inspecting the clothing. "Wonderful news. Our day is set then. I will wait outside as you prepare yourselves and I will escort you through the woods so that neither of you will be in any......shall we say....danger." A smile crossed his lips as he looked at her mother.

Her mother looked at him, biting her lower lip slightly. "Well, excuse me if l don't really trust you." She said, her voice filled with hatred, though her eyes were filled with fear. No matter how brave she acted, all she could think about was this man, taking out two of the strongest men she knew. Leaving there bodies... She closed her eyes amd looked back at the clothes she had before sighing. "There fine." Slowly, she started folding them back up.

Cassie smiled happily at Marcus when he walked to the door, saying he'd wait outside. "I thought we talked out the danger in the woods already?" she teased him, but looked at her mother. His gaze seemed to be more on her then on Cassie. Sure, when he looked at her, his eyes seemed to glow a bit more, but she didn't know if that was really a good thing. When she looked back at him, she said. "We'll be right out."

She moved back to her bedroom, looking at her mother as he walked out. "Hurry up and change mom. I really want to see what his house looks like." "Though, l'd much rather it just be me and him." She felt bad as soon as she thought that. Her mother was just being protective and Marcus... well she wasn't sure what he wanted.

Cassie shut her door and stripped out of her robe and her night gown before she went to her wardrobe and searched through it for something nice. Even if her mom was coming that didn't mean she couldn't look good. She decided on wearing a pair of white stocking, pulling them up her long, tone legs up to her thighs. Then she grabbed a dress with a red blouse and a white skirt. Cassie pulled it on before going over to her vanity and grabbing her brush, running it through her hair until she got all the knots out and her red hair was flowing in waves around her face. Before walking out, she fixed her necklace, making sure it was on correctly.

When she walked out of her room, she mother was sitting at the table, fully dressed, her head down. "Ready?" Cassie asked her as she walked over.

Her head turned up and she nodded slightly, smiling at her. "Yeah, l'm ready." When Cassie starting walking to the door, her mother spoke up. "Cassie, can you just stay by me while we're out today?"

She looked over her shoulder, confused. "Umm, sure. l guess so." She mumbled before going to the front door and opening it up. "Okay, we're ready, Marcus!"

Marcus was already into the edge of the woods when the front door opened and Cassie and her mom stepped outside. He stood there as they began slowly down the path towards him. "My my dear one. You are absolutely mesmerizing. And I see you are still wearing the necklace."

Cassie walked up to him and her mother stepped up next. "Madam I would like to thank you for accompanying your daughter today. I'm sure this will be an experience neither of you will ever forget." He flashed a quick smile at her. "Follow me."

He began walking through the dense woods with them following close behind. He made his way to the edge of the lake and began walking around the edge. He noticed from behind him as Cassie's mothers breathing was changing and he could hear the nervous rasps coming out in her breathing. He continued along past the lake and down past the cave. "Just a small bit further. Are the both of you ok?"

He turned and saw Cassie was doing fine but her mother had begun nervously looking around back and forth through the woods. "Madam, this would be more enjoyable if you would simply relax. There is nothing extra to fear within these woods. It is simply us. And we only have a little further to go."

He turned and continued walking. After a few more minutes another edge of the woods began to be noticable and through the trees glimpses of the large stone structure he lived in could be seen. He led them to the edge at his house. Looking up he could see his upper windows where he would sit and watch Cassie in the days past. "Welcome to my home."

Cassie put her hand on her necklace, blushing slightly. "Yeah, well it would be rude if l just decided not to wear it." she told him, ignoring the huffed that came in her mothers direction. She lowered her hand as she got closer to him, turning to look at her mother as he spoke.

"Well, what kind of mother would l be if l allowed my daughter to go to strange home alone. Who knows what could happen to a young lady." Her mother answered, giving him a quick, sharp look before he turned and started to walk into the forest. For a moment, she hesitated, waiting for her daughter to move. Once she stepped over the edge of the woods, she followed, making sure to stay close enough that if something came at her, she could help.

As Cassie walked behind Marcus, she occasionally looked over her shoulder at her mother. She looked never, but when ever their eyes met, she would give her a reasurring smile, like to say 'It's alright. Nothing will happen to you.' Her mother seemed to calm down, until Cassie looked forward again.

As they got closer to his house, her mother moved up more, closer to her. Now that they were past that lake, no matter what face she gave her, she wasn't going to calm down. Not until she was safe back inside her house. Not that she didn't care about her mother, but right now, that didn't matter. What did matter was finally being able to see where this man lived. A thousand images were going through her mind. All of large, elegant houses, something with a old but classy look to it. When she started to see the house peeking through the trees, her heart started to speed up and a bright smile covered her face that only grew as they got closer.

When they came to a stop in front of it, she turned to him. "You should have brought me here when we first met. Your home looks outstanding!," she looked at the house "lt looks beautiful."

Her daughter looked filled with excitement, it was written all over her face, but all her mother could see was hell. She didn't like this man, she didn't like how he threatened her. Now she was going in his house. "Can we just here please. I'd like to go back home."

Marcus looked at his house and then turned to Cassie as she stepped to the edge of the woods and he saw the smile that was spread over her face. "I have wanted to bring you here for a long time dear one. It is wonderful to me to see that you are pleased from simply witnessing the outside of my home. I can only hope that you will be just as satisfied when you enter and see the inside."

He took a step back as Cassie finally exited the woods and took a few steps towards his house. Reluctantly, her mother stepped up to the edge as well but showed to desire to move any further. Marcus turned his face to her and any semblance of a smile disappeared from his face and his voice lowered into a deep tone. "Madam, you are here now. Your daughter wishes to see more. I think it would be very important to your well being that you not try to stop her at this point."

He turned and looked at Cassie then turned back to her mother at looked in her eyes. When he did a darkness flashed over his eyes that he knew she could plainly see. "I see no issues from me stopping you if you try to stand her way. Now please come forward and try to enjoy yourself." He flashed a quick evil smile towards her and began walking up towards where Cassie was standing.

Once he reached her side, he looked over at her. "I am enjoying seeing your pleasure from being here with me. Would you care to see more?"
