Well, that's what I call it. They call it the "Tango." For those of you who always want tobe able to fit into a parking space no matter how small or narrow (with room to spare!).

In addition, you can also tell that annoying friend who's always asking you for a lift "no can do, buddy!" because there's no passenger seat :D

Adorable, isn't it? It's electric and comes in pretty, iPod colors!

More here. Also cute video of it in action here.

0-60 in four seconds!

I'd be afraid it would tip over taking a turn...cute, though.

This car will be a time saver for for fire departments and undertakers everywhere. When a Peterbilt semi rolls over you like you're a speed bump, there will be no need for an EMS unit or the Jaws of Life, you'll simply be buried in it. ;)

It is a enclosed, four-wheeled motorcycle. As such I suppose it is an ideal conveyance for those who carry nothing but themselves, their laptops and a very thin cell phone. However, though that may cover a large part of the blogosphere, the chattering classes and other effetes, what about a green vehicle for those among us who continue to make their livings building or fixing?

The killer was their masterful selection of the Beach Boys' immortal "Little Deuce Coupe" to accompany that video.

It reminds me of a smaller Smart Car. I saw one of those once and acted like the Big Bad Wolf, trying to blow it over as I huffed and puffed. then I saw the license plate said "Weeble", and got the hint that it may wobble but it won't fall down.

True story ;)

Plot bunny....

as the duo was chased down the road, the two individual cars hooked up side to side and became one. Thus doubling their speed and agility. As more and more of the clan raced to their aid more and more cars hooked together until all the cars of the clan were one, monster, vehicle that nothing could stop.

have at it.

Some time back, I drove a Morgan 4/4 Competition. I was sitting at a stoplight, minding my own business and 'not bothering nobody.' Some asshole in a Buick came down the hill behind me and blew the horn, showing no signs of stopping. I revved the engine of the Morgan and made a right turn, into a solid line of traffic. The Morgan is small and narrow. The people in the line of traffic didn't want a collision, so they made a very little room for me, which was all I needed with the Morgan. The Buick went through the light and center punched someone behind me in the line of traffic. The moral of this story is, 'Sometimes small size and agility trumps the larger sheet metal womb.'

Lol, even the guy on the motorcycle looks at him with amused disdain.

Ford, I think it was, used to make a little Three cylinder commuter car - I cannot seem to find a reference for it on the internet, but I almost bought one back in the Eighties, the guy who owned it had used it for fishing, the floorboard was almost completely rusted out, and I didn't have the equipment to fix it at the time.

It was slightly smaller than the first generation Honda Civic which was a really tiny car for the time and got 50 miles to the gallon.

There were actually a lot of smaller cars to choose from back then, the MG midget was highly popular - I looked at one once, but I couldn't even get my legs into it.

The VW bug, was ubiquitous of course, but there were also several varieties of economy model Porches that were very popular, all based on that Flat Four, RWD VW pancake engine.
