I'd like to see some of these multiple submissions rejected as not being stand alone stories. Either that or moved to Novels as works in progress.
I've seen a number of them from Survivor entrants that are seriously pushing it for content - if read in isolation they are meaningless and go nowhere.
Limiting the number of stories per week certainly wouldn't hinder me, even linking both pen names. I barely manage to put out anything new on a monthly basis, let alone weekly
That said, I haven't noticed any spikes in the time it takes a story to get approved on Lit since I started here. If anything, I've seen my wait time decrease. I don't know that the influx of multiple stories per day from single authors is really putting much pressure on the delay between submission to posting.

The answer to your "no" is, simply, that it can't be helped. The technology won't do it. It isn't worth worrying about, and all the hollering in the world isn't going tochange it. Choose your battles (although you seem to prefer the unwinnable ones)There are two distinct issues here. The first, the one I raised is – Should previously issued stories be allowed back on the NEW STORY page a second time? My answer to this is a resounding NO.
I gotta say you are right on with this. I'm impressed that you've stated it so clearly and concisely, in fact. The heart of the “over posting” problem is the SURVIVOR CONTEST and I’ve always believed it should be cancelled.
It encourages quantity over quality. It simply sullies the reputations of some of our best authors. Those writers who could (and should) be producing the best stories on the site, instead, are rushing to produce the most stories. Contrary to common sense they are alienating large parts of what should be their reading audience. They are hurting their reputations (and future views/sales) by putting out stories under their names that simply are of inferior quality.
The stalking starts when you find something that puts a little twist in your panties...such as my sailing by you on the favorites list.
Cloudy, I'm saying this with as much respect as I can, but go to hell. I don't much care what you say about me, mostly because you are like these old Italian ladies that I lived by once. They just loved to pick apart a carcass and kicked a few dead horses when they were at it.
Scouries...whatever. Stay in your dream world and write your crap. I'd much rather have real royalty checks and real fans that enjoy my work than sit back and hatch your little dramas trying to pull me down. So I think what I said to Cloudy goes to you too...but without the respect. Go to hell.
yeah, this happens sometimes. Welcome to the realities of the internet! it doesn't happen by magic.[

Hi there-
Our image server machines crashed. We did not have the proper back-up so this has affected all of the pictures on the site from loading. We have ordered new machines and are hoping to get this issue addressed as soon as possible. I will test out the login for you and get back to you as well as soon as I can. We appreciate the continued support and apologize for the trouble. Thanks

I won't get technical on you here, you'll have to just trust me. But you can see what happens, by the email that your image server sent you. That is NOT unusual, believe me!I've never mentioned you on my blog and I've never asked anyone to kiss my ass. You don't like me fine, I don't care. I don't put myself on your radar, you've just butted your nose in on me. You've hated me since you were proven wrong about me cheating on a valentine contest. That's life. I hope you enjoy yours. I'll stay out of your business, just like I've asked Scouries to stay out of mine. I don't post here unless he starts up more shit. He mentions my name and that draws me back into it. I don't want to be here, understand, but I'm not going to sit back and let a creep like him push me around.
A plague on all three of your houses.![]()

And why do you post in here?
Your opinion of me doesn't matter to me, Cloudy. You don't know me just as I don't know you. I do know that when I sent you a pm after that valentine fiasco, you didn't even have the common courtsey to read it and send me a go to hell. Oh well. As I've said, I haven't put myself on your radar, you've come gunning after me. If you care so little, then why bother? For about the past month, I've stayed mostly out of the forum except for a few posts on other threads, why, because I'm busy. I have a family and friends besides this place.
I only post in Scouries thread because he constantly draws me back into his madness. He finds someone else to write about and I'll stay away period. Will you?
And who is this CrimsonMaiden guy and why would we report problems to him? Don’t tell me he’s one of the infamous
“T W E L V E___WISE___ONES”
I’ve been looking for?
