Interesting, I was in Sydney (Australia) earlier this week and in a shopping centre was the usual Asian massage venue. Most of these types are generally legit (no need for tissue paper ) but this particular one was staffed by a rather loud receptionist who wasn't one for much discretion. But I got to keep 100% of the tips, which would be usually $50, sometimes more, but not often.

Thanks for your two cents, I was curious to what factors led to some places having them some not. Also like you discussed was the turnover factor: the parlor and the massuese make more money if you turn over the clients quicker. I imagine table showers would slow it down. Turnover would be a massive factor. That's why most parlours steer away from offering showers - anything that keeps a client longer on the venue is bad for business. In Australia it's usually a 'cost +' situation, in that you pay the door $X and then pay a tip for the sensual services. The first payment depends on how long the massage is for. The extras were $50 when I was there, sometimes negotiated down to $20, as something was better than nothing. Topless ranged from free to $20, and I stayed away from going fully naked. Again that was in 2010, so you can expect these figures to have risen over the years.
