My heart is full with peace Lord, Send it to those who are warring with the world or themselves.

My heart is overflowing with love, give it away to those who need compassion right at this moment.

O Mighty Jupiter Optimus Maximus, if that is what you prefer to be called, otherwise I shall call you by something else, you who are whatever sex you prefer, be with this Republic that is founded upon the principles of freedom and justice, and help me be a good citizen of it. Be with me and my slave, who is under much stress, and let me be a good and benevolent Master to her, showing her my love and understanding of her needs as well as my own. Let the New Year be one of love and new beginnings for both of us. Let us focus on caring for each other, and not any wrongs done by either of us to the other in the past year. For hearing this prayer, I thank you, O Mighty Jupiter Optimus Maximus, King of Heaven.
 
Morning Lord,

thanks for a new day, for the beauty in the frost trails and the sparkle to the ice.

I pray you keep us safe in our travels today and thank you for your constant care.

Today is a new day full of opportunities, let me have the strength and wisedom to use them.

God of every human being, you never force our heart, but you place your peaceful light within each one of us. With that light shining upon them, our failures and our joys can find meaning in you.
 
A moment with you.

I must always make timeto be with you.

In the midst of stress and struggle,

During celebration and delight I need to find time for my Lord, my Saviour, my Friend and my God.

I'm sorry that I often go through life trying to do it on my own.

I cede my life to you.

I know I'm terribly possesive of my life and I keep snatching it back or trying to tell you how to make it work out right, I'm sorry.

Guide me oh thou great Jehovah, just as you've led those who have come before me, as you lead those around me in this world right now.

Teach me when I should be doing and when I should be silent and still, listening to you.

Let me seek you, always seek you.

You are love, you are what runs through my veins, what keeps me going day after day.

Thank you, Lord for loving me.

Joy and peace of heart are incomparable values for following Christ. Fear and worry can undermine the confident trusting of faith.

And the daily reading Lamentations3:21-33

Yet this I call to mind
and therefore I have hope:

Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.

They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.

I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him."

The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;

it is good to wait quietly
for the salvation of the LORD.

It is good for a man to bear the yoke
while he is young.

Let him sit alone in silence,
for the LORD has laid it on him.

Let him bury his face in the dust—
there may yet be hope.

I know you have a plan for me, every day is written in your book, let me feel the confidence of that reality. Let me feel you at work today.
