Based on what I have read here, I am anticipating some turbulence, and have my seatbelt fastened, and my tray in the upright position.

I fished out a WIP to tidy up for this. Just submitted it.

Zero chance of winning due to subject matter, but one more of my thousand WIPS off my mind isn't a bad thing.

And another genre tackled, another story just submitted. What if... we get naked? My first serious go at writing a lesbian inspired story. My usual fare centres around heartfelt pain and betrayal, for this one, stealing the sun cream is the height of that

I just submitted an Interracial story as my third attempt for Summer Lovin. I feel good about it, but doubt it will have time to score well.

Separately I’ve got a Loving Wives story pending for 9/22 in Crime and Punishment. I hope that goes well. I’m planning to record my other stories scores on the 21st to see if they are negatively impacted.

Sorry - I wasn't actually meaning to be that 'pluggy'. In the final scene of my Nude Day story, a generously proportioned choirmaster invites the whole choir to strip down in rehearsal as they sing, and strips down herself. It's a coda to a story which is about the evolution of a group of people to a space that's much more inclusive and comfortable than where they started.

My point is it's a very narrow lane of what is accepted or not I guess. Stray from that and you get vile comments. Maybe I am misunderstanding the category but I thought hotwifing and swapping were part of it but it seems like if you don't write romance-style (and I don't) then you are in for a rough ride.

I have 3 with a rating under 4.00.

2 of those are 750 worders, which we all know are problematic.

The remaining one is my lesbian LW story - my lowest rated at 3.49.

It’s also my most viewed story.

But still the majority of comments from people were positive.

And if you ignored anonymous comments, it was the vast majority that had something nice to say.

My LW stories range from 3.88 to 4.66, but more relevant is that my top three stories for views are all LW stories. If your purpose is to seek engagement, LW is a good place to publish.

For the second time this year, barely made it under the contest/challenge deadline wire. 'Bouncing Breasts and Pendulum Pricks' has to be a quintessential summer tagline, yes? The list is almost to 150 entries, which we'll surely exceed as the last flood arrives.

I am a bit surprised so few people use the suggested 'summer lovin 2025' tag.

I meant to, but just forgot to do it. Still mine has gotten almost 10k views, which is way over what my one story that isn’t part of a contest even though its been live for several months. Next time I’ll try to remember. But check it out and give me feedback. I meant to put that feedback is welcomed on the forward also. I guess I got excited to submit.

My first foray into the badlands of Loving Wives drops tomorow. It’s called In The Eye Of The Beholder. Not a very original title. I’m hoping for a rating in excess of 3.00.

Holding steady around the rating level I was expecting. It’s a story that is very intentionally ambiguous in more than one way. So far the only comment has related to wanting things to be spelled out more.

Yep, I like to publish a LW story in a comp or two. Rather tickles me to see it nestled in (usually) a run of I/T stories when I look at Theme tag. You ain't never gonna win anything in a comp with an LW piece, but some of us have to fly the flag
