On cloud nine right now! I entered having no expectations and thinking I had no chance! I was worried such a long story would turn readers and voters away but am ecstatic to be proven wrong. I've been working on this damn thing for almost a year now, and to have it actually win after all the time I spent on it... Wow! Thanks to everyone who submitted a story, to everyone who read, and to everyone who voted. I read some of the entries and thought I would be lucky to get third!
