While we await the announcement of the Nude Day contest winners, we can turn our thoughts to summer, when people are nude and there's lots of lovin' -- at least in our stories. Surely, especially this summer, there are plenty of people running around in little clothing. Lord knows it's hot enough. So let's bring out the margaritas, surf boards, swimming pools and any other, um, toys you might like and get started on the next contest!

Two stories I didn't complete in time for last years contest, are both at least 2/3 done. One is ridiculously long however. May be as many as 20 pages, should really be four or five longish chapters. I'm going to try to get them both done and submitted early. I keep getting rushed at the end.

The third one is even crazier. Started it for last years contest, and it's now 12 chapters long, and a little more than 1/2 done. At the rate that one's going it wouldn't be ready for next years summer contest.

Rolled out the Last Boy Scout in honor of 3000 favorites back in January. I'm about to submit It Was Only A Blowjob, a 6 chapter LW which I think people will find interesting, in honor of hitting 4000 favorites. Maybe I'll finish Summer Two-a-days, my 20+ chapter beast as a reader bonus for hitting 5000 favorites.

Thanks. Kind of surprising. Took me 12 years to get to 3K favorites in mid December. Now I'm sitting at 4100, 6 months later. I'll take it.

I flaked out on the Nude Day contest, but hope to have a better showing this time around. My lowest reads for a story, ever. Hell, I've had more votes SWEPT in a contest, than that story got reads. Lesson learned: stay away from humor.

BTW Lovecraft68 - what's the vote count on your SWB later chapters? Seems like you have several that should be cracking the TopList, but aren't showing up. Other than The Summer...

I can't even begin to think about a Summer Lovin' story at this point. I'm knee-deep in my fantasy novel, and then there's that monster called FAWC that I spawned. But, who knows? Maybe I'll find a sudden inspiration somewhere.

This is a great time for writing stories because Summer, Halloween, & Christmas are almost back-to-back.

I'm already thinking of ideas for the Halloween contest.
