Yes, because the Politics Board is hidden but someone gave me the password?
Sad, but I do wish you well. Hopefully you will see the light. I just don't understand this thinking but very glad that I don't think like your or the others. My father gave me a sense of pride and purpose. Did you have a father?
Pride and purpose. I've heard that before. A phrase used by those who feel obligated to place themselves higher than their fellow man.
Pride and purpose. Two words put together that used to mean something, when men and women would take satisfaction in doing good during the day, whether it be working hard for the day, making a child smile, teaching someone something. Purpose. Knowing what you were meant to do, not what was expected to do, or what your parent said you had to do, to be.
Pride and purpose. Something you misinterpreted or are purposely misunderstanding to fit the narrative to which you believe we all should listen.
Did I have a father? Yes, but he couldn't give me a small loan of a million dollars.
Did I have a father? Yes, but he wasn't home to coddle me due to the fact he had to work two, three jobs so my siblings and I could move out of public housing.
Did I have a father? Yes, he allowed me to think for myself, to question everyone, everything, to learn from the answers I was given, to those I found for myself.
Did I have a father? Yes, one that allowed me to be myself, to not conform into the norms others expected of me.
Did I have a father? Yes, one that pressed that with hard work and education, I could be whatever I wanted.
So, Alex, tell me, did I fail my father? Did I make him upset, sad?
