I'm in what I like to call the "almost" club. It's not below a 4 so it has possibilities but so far away from that red H that it will never get there. I like my 4.05 score

I had my first troll comment today. Actually two comments from the same person who then pretended to be someone else when they commented on the first comment. Very weird indeed.

Contest scores are always my worst scores. Don't really believe that my contest stories are any worse than the rest. haha
This one has been around the 413 range since the start of the contest. Votes going up and down like a yo-yo but minor changes. Hanging in the 230's to 240's.

Tex- you said you got a red H, that's like waving a red flag at a bull. The not so nice authors will help lower it for you. Good luck to you all.

Can't believe I did it but I finally got my entry in - seemed to take years to edit the turds out of it. For all I know there's nothing but turd left. Do you ever feel that you're just too close to your story to judge if it's any good or not?

Technical Question: How do you submit in .txt format? I lose all my italics when I convert word to .txt so I've submitted a .doc. Hope it turns out OK.

I've probably sent my entry in too late to accrue enough votes but you never know.

Now I shall read everyone elses...

BTW Austin - love your kiwiana. I grew up eeling with my dad in NZ so it was a great blast from the past for me. Dunedin - one of my favourite cities.

I've got another entry yet. Probably submit it about thursday, maybe even friday. That would make it a first day post and a last day post. Will see if it makes any difference in reads. I doubt it, but we'll see.

I always copy and paste my stories. Read how to do Italics and so on on the forums. Basically <i> words or sentences, even paragraphs </i> Will show up in Italics. All the other stuff is done the same way. Put them in while writing the story and when you paste it to the entry page you don't have to do anything extra.

You have not sent your entry in to late. The first two days are your major vote and read days. After that the votes kind of piddle in. Categories also determine reads, comments and votes. Also some readers have followings.

I confess I like stories under 3 pages too but I when I finished editing I realised I had to go back and write my first blow-job. That pushed it to page 4. Probably would've hacked it into 'chapters' but the comp rules wouldn't let me.
