The Nickname FAUX News Seems to Be More True Than Not.

Long before Trump...Fox was sued over some faulty reporting. They went to court and argued the newscaster opinions were not news...but entertainment. And they won. What they are is nothing but an entertainment service. In fact, if you look at the true company name on filings...it isn't Fox News...

Yeah, DebbieDowner, that defense is working out really well for Alex Jones.

Deep down...it really grates Republican asses...they were too stupid to not know they were being lied to. I personally love it
They knew.

They believed the lie because they CHOSE to believe it, and the more they spread the lie among themselves (or on online forums) the more they thought they could convince themselves (and the rest of us) that it was true. But deep down, they knew it was a lie, just like the Fox executives and commentators knew it was a lie.

It was never about whether Biden won the election legitimately or not. It was never about that. It was about a power grab by the Republican party based on a transparently false pretext- an attempted coup, in other words. Trump and the Republican party wanted to stay in power. They didn't care if they had to trash the Constitution, the nation, the electoral system, or any sort of constitutional checks and balances to do it. That was really all that there was to the "big lie."

Yet...they still have so much power that the Speaker of the House has just given Tucker full access to the Jan 6th security camera footage. Seems reasonable huh? See...the problem my fellow Democrats seem to not comprehend....is they don't care if they lie as long as they stay in power. You can't reason with this type of sickness. And you can't beat it playing by the rules we are.

The Faux Views commentators were more cynical and two-faced than that. They knew on the surface it was all a lie and that Trump was a moron. They chose perceived personal benefit over everything/everyone else. It didn't mean anything in the least that the mere existence of the United States was under coup attack. They should be kicked out of the media and the public spotlight. They also should be investigated for promoting sedition.
