oh god. please. please do NOT tell me about how you desperately just want a good spanking.

I will give it to you. Or I'll watch while my partner does. Watch your words oh so carefully, darlin', or you might get what you're asking for and I'm not sure you want that line of our friendship crossed.

Holy hell this woman can be a trial.

Want to tell me how to explain to the night nurse why I almost fell out of my bed laughing just short of freaking midnight???

Being jobless is a strange and wonderful feeling. Weirdly enough I've started working so hard on other things I didn't log on for a while. :)

My guest room will finally be a guest room. I've taken anything not guest related and moved it to the new hobby room. (^_^)The hobby room is almost complete, this weekend we're going to check garage sales for a decent table to set up my sewing machine. I'm pretty excited about this.

I dyed my own hair tonight for the first time ever. I couldn't stand the sight of the roots anymore, so I just did it myself, rather than waiting for someone else to help me with it. I got hair dye all over myself, but I think I did ok with my actual hair. I'll look closer at it tomorrow, but I don't have obvious roots anymore, so it's a definite improvement.

I've dyed my hair several times. I've finally grown it all out so my hair is my natural color. When I was in the dying phase I accidentally got dye on my bathroom counter. It was permanently stained so I got a sea sponge and used up the rest of the dye to make the counter look like the splotches were intentional. I was so proud of myself after that incident, :D

That was a little random, but your post reminded me of that day.

my dad's old condo has a permanent brown droplet on his white cupboard from hair dye... lol

Surprising myself...not as big a pushover as I feared I would be, but balancing it with being fair and less defensive and not putting a time limit on it.

When you left my room to go to the kitchen I imagined that you were dead.
A morbid streak runs through the whole of my family. But for you I could put it to rest.

Went for a meeting with a new customer today, the head of marketing at a blue chip company. He'd waffled on in management-speak for about 30 minutes until I could stand it no longer.

Him: I'm just kinda freewheeling here, but we employ the good better best principle and we want our end users to engage with our product via the interface

Me: OK, so you want your customers to read the leaflet.

Give me strength....

And now I've just opened a letter from the company that empties my two waste bins every week. It begins "V Ltd are on a journey of Transforming Waste and we are helping our customers to improve their sustainability credentials".

In other words, they're putting their prices up....

Does no-one speak plain English any more?

Still Good Guy Company.

Here they send you a letter, with the front page containing just advertising bla and a leaflet with all the stuff they offer and you wouldn't be interested in anyway, and coincidentally, when the back page starts, they are like:"Oh, yes, we are also raising the prices next year, we told you with this letter as required and if you don't terminate the contract, it renews for a year with this new price."

Fell for this trick once only...but still annoying.

My baby, my 21-year-old horse I've had since I was in the 9th grade, is sick. He colicked, and nobody knows how long he was down before he was found. My mother called to tell me, and at first, she thought he was getting better, but he appears to have gone downhill since then. I'm about to go down there myself to sit with him tonight.

I try not to do this because I know it's annoying/obnoxious, but if y'all have any extra good thoughts you need to get rid of, I'll be happy to take them tonight. Thank you all, and I love you.

:rose::kiss::heart:

Edit: Well, my mother called again and said she thinks they can handle it now. So I guess I'm on standby here for the time being. I still won't turn down any good thoughts you might have, though.

Oh sweetie, you have every prayer I've got right now, I have been there and it sucks.
Have you had a vet out to rule out other ailments besides colic?

Hope he is back in good health soon. It must be difficult for you after so many happy years together, to be watching him go through this.:rose:
