Fresh coffee in the pot. Good thing I started it before heading outside - half an hour to shovel two driveways and a parking pad. SORE NOW!

Heh, I'm thinking of a different scene. ;)

Oh, yeah, one bottle of wine for one person is less fun as we get older. I did it twice in university and don't plan on doing it again.

Coffee!!!! Thank you, anna. :rose: Now take a rest and let me take care of those sore muscles. ;)

Younger brother got back into town last night, we'll probably go out to the bar tonight. Then tomorrow getting up early to deliver Thanksgiving meals to those in need.

Come in from the cold...get naked, now come over here by the fire for a warm drink and lets get you warm.

Thank you. The massage oil is on the table over there.

I think it's so great that you and your brother deliver Thanksgiving meals. *hug*

Oh, I'm not going out again until I absolutely have to.

Mmm, warm drink, fire... this is how it should be. Thank you both. :rose: :rose:

I swear there is a conspiracy in the office to get me to jump in front of a moving bus by the end of the day, and they may succeed. Rolf, give me a damn drink.

*sigh* My vent for the day.

If I didn't just have lunch I would try some of that chicken noodle.

Awwwwww

cc, that soup sounds fantastic. I made a spicy chicken tortilla soup yesterday and will be enjoying the leftovers for the rest of the week. :D

*hug* Please, don't jump in front of a moving bus.

Sweet dreams, HP! *hug*

Rolf, one hot toddy please? Olaf, will you please dig out an extra blanket for me? Thank you both.

I love spicy food, but not to spicy

I can't quite handle the spice I could when I was younger but being from SoCal, my version of 'mildly spicy' would probably bring tears to some more temperate mammal. I've got this African style hot sauce? Weeeehawken!

Yeah, I'm the same way. Since the flavors only intensify each day, I didn't spice it too much in the crockpot yesterday. Today was nicely spicy and tomorrow will probably be just below my limit.

Oh, that would be way too much for me. The fella might like it.... :)

Morning all

Happy Turkey Day to those who celebrate it.

Coffee is the only way to start the day.

Did I hear the magic word?
Coffee ?
Yes please, but go real easy on the spike. Under the influence at Breakfast is really not a recommended policy!
Depends on who is at breakfast. ;)

Happy Thanksgiving, Tx. Yes, coffee is the best way to start the day.

Now, Anna, please do not tempt me into making unrealistic comments.
:rose:
What? You're going to pass that one up? *gasp*

Since it's US Thanksgiving today, I'll get this started: I'm thankful that I don't have to spend today with my sister's mother-in-law. Trust me, HP, breakfast with her and you'd want to be surrounded by alcohol.

I'll take your word for it, and I'll be thankful; honest!

The gadget is gradually taking shape: So far!

Ah, Thanksgiving! The one day of the year when the vacation/holiday deprived Americans kick back while the rest of the world keeps slaving away. Long may it thrive.

Probably will, too. I read that today's turkeys go to slaughter at an unbelievable thirty pounds. That's amazing. Who's got a family these days big enough to eat a thirty pound turkey?

Leftovers, yum. :D

Just got back from delivering Thanksgiving meals to those in need. One woman was so happy that after dropping off the food, she stopped us as we were leaving to say a prayer. I'm not religious, so I just played along. But felt good about my good deed for the year.

John, God Bless you for that act of Charity.
There's a good glass of something for you at the bar.

Good work...I am sure your good deeds were very much appreciated.

A breezy, cold, late November day.
Coffee I think, while I work out those jobs outside that I can avoid. . .

Anyone else in need?. There's a large pot on the Bar.
