I hit 1600 followers last week and will be at (at least) 40 stories published on the 31st. Not too bad for eight months on LitE.

NTH is my absolute bane in that regard. He joined 6 days after me, and skyrocketed into popularity.

(perhaps it has something to do with his raw talent and the fact that he is prolific author...? But I'll always tell myself that the system is rigged! )

I suppose I could try writing more LW, but the closest I'd feel comfortable to writing a Burn The Bitch story is having a character lay in the sun too long.

I've gone back and forth with myself about posting this here. Truth is, I don't have anybody else to brag about it to, so here goes...

Since 5/7/23, when my first story appeared:

3 stories published
107 followers
121,282 total views - yes, I know views don't equal being read. Engagement is still engagement, however brief.
1996 total votes, mean average rating of 4.62 - all three of my current stories sit at 4.52 or better after the latest sweep.
1 story for the Nude Day 2023 contest, I think it did well with 55,000+ views and 1100 + votes with a final rating of 4.69

When I first clicked submit, I had no idea what would happen. I didn't expect this, though. It's nice to know that a few people like my stories.

I have a new story going live tomorrow in a new category for me, one that's marinating pre-editing, and I'm working on a Summer Lovin' entry, along with a few others in various stages of development.

Three of the seven are of course LW(two are under 3.00) of the others three are taboo where I did something I knew would go against the popular "yay, its all hot fun" crowd. The other is a reluctance story from a couple of years ago. Its a 4.43.

Write a story about a virtuous wife who's only lover is her husband, the husband who is amazingly handsome, built like a weight lifter, a successful doctor and the envy of all around him. In fact his license plate is ALPHA, and in the story his wife tells him over and over how lucky she is and how unworthy she is to have him, and how could he possibly love a member of her filthy horrific gender.....

You'd hit high with that one.

Were I the bragging type, which we all know I'm not, I'd do a small crow and a happy dance that my new story here is doing well. At least for me. 11160 reads (or views really) 4.09 on the 162 votes, 9 new followers, and 18 favorites in 55 or 60 hours on the site. Really-a-big-fucking-deal, right? NO, not to you guys it isn't.
