The Manor (RP Thread)

he shook his house "i just wanted to share a drink" he tells her offering her one he steps into the room "i see you unpacked he is an odd one" he says looking her over. wolves are rare traveling in packs and mating for life one might not see another for a long time . "what did you think of him"

Murray.

What a day. First he'd had no coverage at the shop, then he'd blown a tire while trying to get home. to the first he really did want to ask how hard it was to come to work on time, and if you couldn't do that could you at least spend the extra time getting ready for work. Deana the lizard who worked for him had not only manaeged to forget Apron, Wait pad, and Change, she had come to work baked as a lasagna. And about as useful.

Murray Templeton was not having the best of days. He was late, and he hated being so. He also had to go home, something becoming less and less frequent for the Equine over the last few months. With Summer coming a lot of his student work had gone away and someone needed to keep his coffee shop open. And he couldn't afford who too much right now.

He was biking there. Not motorbiking his hair flowing freely, just biking. The pedals were adapted to his hooves nicely, and to tell the truth his Seven and a half foot had trouble fitting in any car he'd want to drive. Let alone something with an engine that would move all 685 pounds of him, Or seats othat would hold that at all. He really didn't have a lot of options. But he normally liked biking. It was calming and let him think. Normally. Today he ahd been run off road by some idiot driver, and had had a blowout. Now he was walking the oversized bicycle on his shoulder, almost walking the rest of the 15 miles to home. God was he glad he wore shorts today, he was already far too hot simply because of his hair.

But he was finally home. A lot of new cars were in the driveway, so he guessed he was late. he called out hoping someone was home. He had after all taken the rest of the day off.

"Hey, Sebastian, I'm here to help the new people move in. You wouldn't believe the time I had getting here. Just murder."

I nod in affirmitive, and walk out the kitchen, I pass the library, and I could smell another feline in there, my tail swishing, I walk into the Library, "Hello?"

Sebastian had been about to step out of the kitchen when he heard the distinctive, booming bass of Murray's voice. He grinned, then shook his head, before stepping out into the living room and heading towards the equine's voice. "Another one of those days, huh? I think most of them are here, they're just around the house. Not much to move in, yet. I know we are still waiting on our other computer users. At least, I think we are. They'll probably have the most stuff. At the moment, you can help us get everyone together down here. We should take care of any questions they all have, and then maybe give a tour of the property. Quite a few gals, too. This is going to be hell, but at least life will be interesting."

Riza sighed ever so softly as she made her way from the library, two books in hand. I wonder what everyone else is up to... She thought to herself, her dark gaze wandering along the walls of the corridors, the pictures that lined them, even the tone's and shades of the colors. Her thoughts wandered, and after a while of walking, she decided it best to find her room, drop off her things and visit the pool. She smiled a bit, nodding contently at her decision, and started walking a bit quicker, the slender heels of her shoes clicking softly on the white marble flooring.

She wondered if anyone else would be there, maybe she would find someone to join her, though she doubted that highly, Riza had a way of letting her intentions get away from her, weather they be in a good or bad way. Most of the time, it was leaning towards the darker side of things though. Riza soon heard voices and the velvet soft ears atop her head twitched ever so slightly. She let out a soft sigh, her fangs poking out from benieth the fur of her muzzle. Riza slowed her pace a bit as she looked down, not really bothering with who or what was in front of her, as she started digging around in her bag, prodding and poking through various things, searching for the black bikini she had packed.

Sebastian had been heading towards Murray's voice, and rounded a corner. Suddenly, he found himself falling forward, as he ran into a young woman. He could only tell it was a woman because as he fell, he felt the distinctive sensation of a pair of breasts pressing into him. He heard an "ooph" as they both hit the ground, and only then did he notice who he'd run into. He blinked, then started to pull away. "Sorry, uh...Riza, wasn't it?"

She lay on the floor benieth the man, her eyes wide, her hands clinging to his shoulders. She had dropped her books as she had fallen, and with a deep pink blush tainting her cheeks, she rushed to pick them up. "N-no, I'm sorry, I should have watched where I was going." She looked up to him as she crouched on the ground, books in one hand, the top of her bikini in the other. She looked down to it and blinked a bit, stuffing it into her bag. "Sorry again..." She smiled sheepishly as she stood, her head tilting gently off to the side, her ears perking up a bit more. She guessed this was the human man that her brother was talking about.

Sebastian slowly got to his feet, then held a hand out to help her up. He studied her for a moment, taking in her features. Quite striking, he thought. Then he bowed slightly. "I'm Sebastian Wraith. Pleased to meet you. Now, please head towards the kitchen. We're working on getting everyone together in one place at once time."

She nodded a bit as she stood, blushing still, her eyes following his as he looked her over. This of course only made her blushing worsen, and the burning in her cheeks, though she was sure the man couldn't see through her fur, made her hands quickly move to her cheeks, rubbing to try and make the burning sensation die away. She smiled up to him as she slid her hand from his, her tail twitching lightly, along with her left ear every now and again. "Alright....Thanks..." She said in a rather shy voice. She looked him over once more before speaking agian. "Oh...um...where's the pool again?" She smiled a bit, her hands crossing under her chest lightly.

Sebastian blinked at the question. Then he thought for a moment before speaking. "It would probably be best if you went to the kitchen. A couple of the others talked me into giving a tour. Though Murray or Ginger would be better suited for it. Anyways, I've got to make sure everyone gets there, so I'm going to search the house. You could tag along, if you want, I suppose."

Not hearing a reply, I go around to the other side of the manor, not seeing anyone I return to the kitchen, "Well seems there are a few people here already, but I'm not sure where the rest are."

he moves to the kitchen "is anyone in here" he asks finding some raw meet in the fridge. he looks around seeing a few people wondering why so many have gathred in the kitchen.

She nodded a bit, though she had failed at her rather desperate attempt to get away from another group activity. To his request for her to tag along, she smiled, looking up to him once more from the floor. "You wouldn't mind, would you?" She asked, her head tilting gently off to the side, along with one of her ears. "I don't want to be a neucence." Her hands clasped behind her back, much like a child would. Her fingertips picked gently at one another to do her best to hide her nervousness.

Sebastian raised an eyebrow, then shrugged. "Well, you'll be living here too. Might as well all get to know each other. Besides, most of the people here have been chosen because of their level of acceptance of the idea. Though, to be honest, you I'm not so sure about. I know your brother was accepting of the idea, but you don't seem that eager to be here. I can relate, actually. This isn't what I'd signed up for. Ginger's going to have some explaining to do at some point." He sighed, then started down the hallway again. "Well, we'd better get moving."

She looked over her back, her eyes blinking a few times as she turned to face him. He had already started walking. The sounds of the heels of her shoes clicking on the marble floor echoed through the long hall as she trotted over to catch up to him. "I came because of my brother." She replied after a few moments. There had been a heavy silence on her part, one she had wished to break as soon as she possibly could. "We've been through alot...and I was actually wanting to stay back at the apartment we were living in, but he wanted to come...he said we might have a better life here, and that he wanted to go, but wouldn't if I didn't...So I followed..."

Sebastian nodded, hearing the story from her as he walked. It made sense, now that he thought about it. They slowly made their way around the house, not finding many people. Then he spoke. "Well, for what it's worth, I think you made the right decision. This will probably be revolutionary for both humans and Zoans. At least, I hope it will. Anyways, looks like we can head back towards the kitchen."

Elle had been about to accept his drink offer but he wasn't there when she turned around. The wolf girl wasn't sure what she was supposed to do now... had she been imagining it or had he really come and gone like that. She wasn't sure but what she did know was that she was almost done working on her room.

She hung up all of her shirts and then all of her pants, she had a few pictures of her friends and herself posing for the old photographer, they had wanted to get pictures with her before she left. Of course now she was with a small time sister company and she was coming in to show off her reputation as a photographer and camerawoman.

She began to hum some song.

She had heard it somewhere not that she knew exactly where but she guessed it was off of the radio...

Eventually she was dancing, just a little bit as she sang the song more or less mumbling the words she didn't know.

"I can't change the minds of humans or Zoans, I'm just here because he wanted me to be..." She shrugged a bit. "I know that probebly makes me sound horrible..." She looked up to him, a light smile bowing her lips. "But I'm glad I at least met you...I really didn't think I'd be talking like this to much of anyone....Thanks"

OOC: no one else posted, so i guess i have to move things along a bit

IC: Sebastian raised an eyebrow, then smiled. "Consider yourself lucky. I've never met any of my family members besides my mother. Anyways, I think the two of you will do fine here. I mean, look at the odd group we've got? Four guys, and how many girls? That's a recipe for trouble, considering all of the gals are Zoans. The guys shouldn't be too much trouble. I've been told most male mating cycles last mere hours. Females, on the other hand, can last weeks. Just promise me I'm not going to wake up to find myself unable to even pee in the morning." He grinned, then tilted his head, and made an abrupt right turn, heading up the stairs. "I think I hear singing."

Riza smirked a bit as Sebastian spoke. It was true, her own mating cycle sometimes lasted for a week or so. She gave him a playful wink and laughed softly. "Oh I can't make any promises." As he turned to walk away, she did the same, figureing it best to get back to her room and get her things unpacked. The heels of her shoes clicked softly as she wandered along the halls, her eyes darting back and forth. She seemed to have a feel for the layout of the manor, though she couldn't help but fear being lost in its near endless halls.

I watched the wolf walk in, and smiled in a friendly way. "We all being taken on a tour of the manor would you like to join us?"

Murray (Sorry people new job is killing me.)

There had been packages outside and there were a few of them. Probably more computer equipment. Or computers, or who knew. He gathered them and began to walk to the kitchen, he thought that was the meeting place and he didn't trust the stairs. he ducked at the front entrance, it was the only low arch in the house but he still hated it. He'd cracked his thick head on that thing so many times coming home from work it wasn't even funny anymore.

There did seem enough people here that was true, but it probably wouldn't be hell like Sebastian thought. No one his size though, it looked like. He'd seen cars and smaller stuff. Oh well, it was bad juju to hit on your roomates anyway right?

"Hey Sebastian I brought the stuff in. Were we meeting in the kitchen or the pool?"

Murphy looked up from her daydream of days past with that voice. She had to be imagining things right? There was no way that a smart guy like him was still here. She got up from her spot and walked around the entryway trying to figure out why she would have heard that voice so crisp and clear.

"Mur---" She stopped herself not wanting to seem crazy... but she wasn't hearing things right? She couldn't be.

She walked into the kitchen to see if they had anything to drink to clear up her head a little when she saw him. Oh... He was even taller than she remembered. She didn't want to scare him, he seemed to be holding up all of these heavy boxes.

Quietly she waited by the archway he had just gone through...

Murray. Finally my computer didn't implode.

Murray began placing packages on the table hoping to keep everything organised, Sebastian could be really sensitive about where everything went when he got deliviries. While Murray was supposed to know he ahd no head about him for what the difference betweeen a modem and a router were. Both had blinking lights as far as he knew, and about 6 plugs in the back. So to his mind that made them identical.

He picked up a cookie, Someone must have brought them fromt eh store. oatmeal and raisin, and turned about, he'd go find some people to take on tour.

And there she was.

that cute little massage student who'd been the best barista ever from so long ago. Murphy. Their names were so similar, and the little Fox girl was here now. Murray felt kind of embarrased for still ebign ehre, that long ago he'd been full of ideas and drive, and now he was so content ato work and own his own place. As crazy as it drove him. He crushed the cookie in his hand sending crumbs to the floor.

"Murph... it's been a while."

She had seen the look on his face when he turned. He seemed calm having not noticed her yet, Murphy had to smile a little at him, he hadn't changed at all. He did look a little tired but he was still handsome as she remembered him. And then she saw his face change when he finally noticed her.

The way he crushed his cookie like that she would have thought that he was angry with her but it was clear that that was not the case.

"Murph... it's been a while."

"Just a little Murray," She agreed with a pretty smile. For Murphy it had been too long. She wasn't sure what she should say or do... what would be appropriate after being away for a few years.

It wasn't like anyting they had had together was definite.

"I missed you," she said walking over to the big equine and giving him an enormous hug. Surely he was much taller and bigger than she but her arm hugged him around the waist and she hoped he would return the friendly gesture.
