OK.... looks like that's as much as we're going to get. If anyone has any theories why it's waning please PM both Razzy and me. We both love doing this, but it's hard getting enthusiasm for something that seems in perpetal decline.

But then again.... no-one here really ever visited our cabin to say hello (or very few of you did). Is it me? Again... please PM rather than say in public.

I can't speak for Razzy, but it does hurt a bit. Even so-called friends just seem to ignore our 'home'. We get very little interraction with people unless it's quiz related. Not really much fun TBH.

One of us will post a subject in big bold letters.
We will then PM the other FIVE things from that subject, so we both know the answer.
The subject could be narrow.... or very wide.
You have to try and match the five things we PM to the other.

You only get 5 guesses and one post per subject.
So you will post one post with 5 things in it
You get 1 point for every one that matches
You get a bonus 5 points if you match all 5.

It strikes me that some may not have realized that we wanted and welcomed interaction other than their responses to the topics. But either way, we've brought this up a couple of times, and haven't gotten specific reasons as to why it happens. It just does. Not sure what we can do to change that. But certainly if anyone has any ideas, we are open to hearing them. By PM as DB suggested, to either of us. We really don't bite (well, not very hard.. ), and we do value people's honesty.

Rosie is right, and I have said this before, DB. When you start a new thread, you get a flurry of interest and then it will settle down to a hardcore of players who post whenever they are there, with a few extras dropping in from time to time. When a few of those regular posters are missing - for whatever reason - of course you will see a drop in 'interest' as you perceive it.

We've seen on the connections thread, many of those who played originally are no longer there, but they've been replaced by new players - we still don't get the numbers we used to get though.

Um... I think people have got the wrong end of the stick here. It's not the game threads I meant. To be honest they don't bother me that much any more. If people aren't interested, I really don't mind stopping.

I am however a bit disappointed that many who played the games never tried to get to know us in our 'home' thread, that we just felt we had to close, as it was just unused (a few people aside), even by those who professed themselves friends. That thread was our 'home' and the one I meant.

As many have said... you can't make someone like you. Even so, it doesn't stop you wondering.

I always forget to come by and then I cant find the thread and then I forget its linked in your sig and then by the time I DO remember I have to leave....basically I is a bit of a doofus

On the flip side, how many of these people did you make an effort to talk to in their threads? Or if they don't have home threads, in threads that they regularly frequent? Why do you feel it was incumbent on everyone to come to you and razzy? If you can't be bothered to make the effort, why should they? If I want to get to know someone, I'll go look for them and strike up a convo, not wait to see if they bother looking for me.

If everyone who has a home thread and plays here thinks people should come and talk to them in THEIR thread like you do, then it's not a surprise you didn't see them that often!

Agreed. But does that automatically make how I feel invalid? Or wrong?

That's not what I meant and you know it. And you also know that I've tried to strike up convos and whatever lots of times. Forget it. One 'friend' told us they no longer came on the thread because they didn't like seeing us happy. Which hurt us both. It's not casual people who take part in the quizzes I meant, but people we know better who simply ignore us unless a question is attached. Also both Razzy and I have posted 'non-quiz' stuff in the quiz threads to try and get banter going, and it's just ignored until a new question is set up.

Again, maybe that says more about us. I don't expect a right/wrong debate... it's just how I feel.. and Razzy to some extent... though not as bad as me. It's not something I'm greatly worried about as life offline is pretty damn good right now. It's just something I feel (rightly or wrongly) a need to mention now and again. There used to be banter and stuff... now it's just one line hit and runs... Lit seems to have become more and more superficial/shallow. There's less and less to reply to or join in with. You've even said that yourself.. especially of the UK thread, so you must know what I'm trying to get at.

Anyway... all I wanted to do was get a gauge and explain why things seem to take so long lately.
