The corpses managed to pull a smile. "Hello, Lothak, don't you want to join us?" they grinned, standing there, not moving forward. "We are quicker, stronger, and every way better than we were in life", they said.
Lothak looked at them then jumped out onto the road, "I will set you free my friends. No, you are not the friends that I know. My friends died when the demons attacked Graliel. You are things that do not deserve to live!"
With that he attacked the lead corpse and sliced through it with the blade of the scimitar in his right hand. As soon as the blade passed through the body of the ghoul there was a loud hissing sound.
The body fell in half on the ground just to be replaced by another which Lothak sliced into. As he began to fight the ghouls one thought came into his head, Maybe this was not a good idea.
Corpses: The ghouls laughed evilly. They began to use their weapons and the numbers began to show. Suddenly, Tyrael jumped out and hacked one of their head's off. Now, the ghouls began to get repulsed. They began to fall, dropping now. A howl went up from the forest and a howler demon flipped in, his swords already drawn

Post at Redwall, it needs help!

Lothak began fighting with all his fury, he had never known such anger but now it had come to the surface because the Tarasque that had attacked his city was now using his friends and people that he knew for his army.
Hesta was fighting right alongside her companions. He sword sang as it took down a ghoul and then another but it always seemed like two more replaced the one that had fallen.
"I agree," She called to the elf,"We cannnot win. But we cannot leave our companion to die either-you are destroying enough of your friends as it is you do not need one more on your list."
Lothak turned to Hesta and said, "We are not going to leave our companion behind. What makes you even think that for I am a paladin and never leave my companions behind."
He then turned back to the ghouls and called on the power of his god, making a white ball of light that flew at the ghouls who started screaming as soon as they saw it.
Hesta wiped the gore from her blade on the ground and sheathed it, muttering about show off elves but feeling relieved that the army of ghouls had been taken care of. She would be damned if she could understand the dark elf-he seemed like a man living in a world of contradictions.
Sliding onto her horse in front of Ferian once again. Applying her knees to the horse's sides, she galloped on.
Lothak got onto his charger and looked at Hesta as she rode off knowing that he was never understand her as she was too damn hard to try and understand. He then decided that he would never try as she was somewhat like the females in the city that he had escaped.
He then patted his horse and said, "Come on boy, lets go. we should get out of here and go to the east."
Tyrael waited until his friends got into the brush. Then, he spread his large wings and began flying after them, right through the forest, dodging the trees. He caught up quickly and then slowed down a bit.
Hesta pushed her mount as hard as she dared without injuring him. "Does anyone know of a safe haven close by? I do not think that we desire to be caught out in the open by our enemy. And I suggest that we put forth a plan before we try to attack it."
Lothak rode his horse next to Kristoff's and said, "Do you know if this castle is still there. I am sorry to say this but what if it was attacked like my home and destroyed?"
"Tell me lothak, can something be destroyed if it cant be seen,"I said with a smile."Cherik is a powerful white wizard-king who hides his castle in an invisibilty blanket,"I said.I called them to a halt in an area that looked deserted."Hail King Cherik,"I called. The draw bridge slowly lowered...
Lothak looked at the drawbridge and then at Kristoff, "Point well taken. I should remember that this is a dark time in the kingdom and everyone is taking precautions. Forgive me for the words that I spoke earlier, they were spoken out of haste."
"Then let haste quicken your step, elf," Hesta said as she urged her mount over the drawbridge,"We have little time before we are discovered and I, for one, do not wish to fight those abominations again."
She hurried over and disappeared to everyone's sight. As she emerged on the other side, it all became clear to her. Surrounding her was a courtyard just like any other that she had been into but right now, a line of archers had their arrows pointed at her, ready to let fly if she proved treacherous.
"Dont worry about it lothak,"I said. The welcome voice of the kings advisor rang out."Kristoff my boy,im glad to see your well,"I hugged him.He was like my father."The king awaits you and your friends in the main chambers,"he said.I nodded."follow me," I said...
Tyrael flew into the courtyard and the archers put down their bows in wonder. "Hello, Isolde. This looks like a beautiful place", he said, walking over to her.
Lothak looked around the castle with amazement and wondered how much power it would take to keep a building this size completely hidden from everything. As he followed the others he had the feeling that he was safe, at least for the moment.
