I will, if I may be so bold, (And gosh darnit, I may!) offer a slightly different theory on the same theme: Fear of losing control. If men think of women as sexually passive it means that sex is the man's initiative, and evey$r time he gets sex, he have won, conquested the resistance, and proved his persuasive cojones.

That works for me as well. In fact I would argue that our theories work well together.

I figured all this out early in life; when a particularly horny female sexual predator (my own age) was the one that initiated all of my early sexual experiences.

I was lucky enough to discover the "truth" at a decently young age and fortunate enough to be one of, evidence here being an aberration, the relatively few men who are NOT intimidated by it.

About the "evidence"...guys active in the AH forums tend to be a little more open-minded than your "typical male". Sorry dudes, but in general we are not the short-sighted bastards most of these women have put up with for way too long. I may be a little arrogant about it, but it is what I believe.

Not that I am letting all the women off the hook. I see an awful lot of you put up with some pretty awful shit from men for absolutely no good reason that I can discern. There are a lot better partners out there looking for you. But if you are here reading this, you probably already know that...*sigh* preaching to the choir again...
