No, not that one…

I’ve recently written:

  1. Two stories in categories I don’t normally frequent, both of which made some sort of statement
  2. A 30k word final episode of my trilogy, which was as serious as you can get in a work featuring: tentacle porn, equine sex, ogre sex, pregnancy fetish, uniform fetish, and even menstruation
  3. My first proper story, one where you could tone down the sex and it still works
  4. A ridiculously emotional (for me) autobiographical story (being moderated)
So, this morning. I wrote and submitted a 1k out and out stroke story. FPP. A naughty teasing girl. No plot. No characterization. No emotions.

It was a total blast 😊.

So you are not referring directly to the 1972 book by Alex Comfort (yes, that is his name). Not bad, but it has a British dryness that may be a bit tongue-in-cheek.

I don't recall that. Should dig it out of the box it's stored in and re-read it. Really should have it on a bookshelf in the living room so the new neighbors can see it when they stop by. Next to Erotica in Art Vols. I and II.

By today's standards, it's a bit tame. It does have some good reproductions of, I think, Japanese, Chinese, and Indian (India) art. Sorry, Emily, no tentacles in the Japanese material, although they invented it.

Is it a nerdy story? Nerds are really hot, because that is the opposite of being...

🤓

It’s not like I’m this tentacle aficionado. You guys made me write it

Em
And would you jump off a bridge if we told you to?

Sorry, it's what my teachers always used to tell me, and the obvious answer is 'yes.'

I made a pinky swear I’d abide by the poll results (color me Elon Musk).

Damn I should have had me wearing a lab coat and glasses. Maybe holding a Western Blot film as well. Perhaps a confocal microscope.

I do wear glasses, BTW. For reading and computer work. Increasingly for my phone as well, which is a new thing 🥲.

Maybe I need to write a group sex scene set in a lab. All those nubile PhD students and Postdocs.

It is quite a joy. I've also boldly gone where pre-Lit Rob would never have.
I/T, non-con, LW? Zero interest. Yet here I am, totally rocking it. Damn, this is fun.

Causing the confusion over trilogies is the grandaddy of all pseudo trilogies:
The Lord of the Rings

Yes! I said it - LOTR is NOT a trilogy. A trilogy is three complete novels that are related to each other, like 2001 and 2010 are related to each other

LOTR is one story divided into 6 sections sold under 3 covers. There is no way The Fellowship of the Ring could be sold as a novel, any publisher on earth would throw it back and say "I hate the ending"

After LOTR sent the term trilogy spiraling downwards trailing smoke, anything can call itself a trilogy now.
