Don't know, but with the OT, it's likely pretty substantial.
I know a few guys who have been working the oil fields in the Bakken Formation. From what they've told me, its very very lucrative, but not many last for long. Hard, dirty and relentless work. Especially during a boom. Only 1 of the 6 people i know, made it more than 10 months, and he stayed for 18. Made shit loads of money, but came back fucking worthless and blew every last dime. That was in the North Dakota area. I can only imagine the extra difficulties working in Alaska.

Maybe when i was in my early 20s, i could of made it a year, but now? Fuck that, I'm about 20 years past that opportunity. I get pissy when i have to work 5 days in a row!

This is different work from what you see on "Landman". Mostly all construction. A different mindset.
