Not just you guys. An elderly family friend had a fall and spent five days on a stretcher in a hallway.
Seems to me politicians just don't understand that we'd be happy to pay an extra % on tax if it could be guaranteed for health. None of us trust the lot in power right now. All liars.

over the course of the past 2 days, i've endured Gone with the Wind for i have no idea how many times in my life. Each time i see it, i hate it more. First time? Was a kid and loved the fancy dresses and the big skies... didn't have a clue what the movie was about and probably missed most of it. Today? Quite apart from the treatment of the 'black stereotypes', i found myself gritting my teeth at the overblown acting, the really horrendous characters (lying, threatened rapes and violence, the interdependence of people in bad relationships, the ugliness of people) and storyline! Almost every line sounded hackneyed... and the music. Damn. A truly vintage film that's like the wet dream for those deep south'nors who still believe the war was one of patriotic rebels fighting the good fight for honour and southern living versus the 'dirty yankees'.

barf-inducing. Yeah,yeah, a film of its times but in this instance familiarity truly has bred contempt.

edit: i didn't mean i watched it over and over during 2 days... just his mum watched part of it one day and part the next. I HAVE seen it too many times, though, over the years and each time leaves me feeling more annoyed with it

So this mate was telling me that the reason Canada switched to only accepting locally issued degrees --not even Equivalency exams is because they got burned.

Apparently the racket is still going on BIG in UAE/Qatar/Dubai: some Indian Universities also offer fake degrees for money, in lieu of getting jobs in Dubai. Some refugees to UK were caught with fake degrees, which unfortunately damaged the reputation of the honest ones.

Most interesting: Narendra Modi is rumored to hold several fake degrees, several Indian people are saying he's pretty illiterate.

That said, they were pretty cars. And your V6 base model, while it doesn’t have the desirable suspension found in the four litre version, makes for a decent daily driver.

That V6, though arguably unrefined, powered millions of Tauruses in North America is a durable bread and butter motor.

Good to see you buy a car you could actually drive home… and it’s only 15-20 years old.

I drove beaters during my divorce 25 years ago, so i have an appreciation for the personal value of having a tidy, reliable car… congrats!

My fun cars are for fun driving and cone racing.

My collector cars come and go and are more like a mixture of coin collecting daytrading. 964’s are moving up again, for example, so moving two or three will generate enough coin to buy one to keep.

It’s a hobby that pays for itself; you do the same thing.

I think the problem some of you have stems from having an odd relationship with the Truth.
