Looks like the Heywood-Wakefield wins out. It's the Wishbone table with the Dogbone chairs from 1948. Off to the shop with the McCobb.

Nice. My stuffs all bedroom stuff. 3 full size five drawer dressers a twin bed and queen bed with headboards a couple end tables and such.

I think their stuff is timeless.

this year i'm noticing a huge increase in FB protest memes against this race, due to the number of horse deaths that have occurred
there used to be a lot, but then they changed the makeup of the course and fences to even out drops and generally make it a whole lot safer.

today there were a lot of fallers, but (as far as i know) no fatalities. in fact so many riderless horses continued to run the race to the end they got in the way. i also noticed far more horses than normal being pulled up to drop out of the race. the going was very heavy this year so maybe this is a new thing as well, rather than allow them to continue and risk injury. dunno.

Fresh discount horse sliders for the celebration dinner after the race!

I keep mine to clean up the cat shit in the yard. And he's a decent vacuum for the kitchen.

Damn fine for rinsing the dishes before they go into the DW. Or hell, sometimes they are so clean, they can just be put in the cupboard.

why would you put carpet under the table? i just don't get it.

I've never understood that either, how do you sweep up the food that will always fall. The only way I can think of is to let that food stay there for a few days and then after it hardens, vacuum it up. But ewwww on all that to crusty crumbs forever on your rug.

it appears they have a beautiful stone or tile floor. sweep and mop. easy peasy!

And who need two martini shakers? You are not supposed to drink out of the fucking thing.

you are correct. and the doors! the chair and table are blocking the exterior doors, which appear to swing inside...

To stop that horrible scraping noise as you drag the chair up to the table.

they make this little tape, sticky on one side, soft on the other, so sounds like this never need happen. it also helps protect your floors.
