I'd read a heap of Lustbader before he got the deal to write the Bourne books, and the first Lustbader Bourne I didnt notice the difference. I'd recommend reading Pale Saint by him, its a lot less dense.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I didn't know him at all when I picked this up.

Quite.

One of the most Bond scenes ever, from a film massively underrated. He refuses to fit in with the cover story of being teachers on holiday and staying in a cheap hotel, orders a taxi to the best hotel in town, and tells them they are teachers...who have just won the lottery.

I love the way his 'chat up line' is barely even trying. They both know what is going to happen.

And a Neci sighting! This day just got better. :rose:

I would never fall for the "looking for stationary" line, not after the first time I did. No way.

I did like that movie too. :)

And NECI!

And ALLY!

A man in a suit needs a good line, like a girl in a bikini does. I really need to live in a cooler climate find some plausible reason that I would be wearing a suit.

That was very good, the deliberately clumsiness of it.

Jeffery Dean Morgan in the SDCC Hall H for Walking Dead may have made my loins twitch. Unghhhhhhhh

When I make the cross-country drive, I'll have to stop overnight, twice. I kinda like motel/hotel rooms but the only thing, the only thing that terrifies me is bed bugs.

One more week. I'm so excited.

One more week and she will be here and our holiday will start.

We can hold hands and make sandwiches and eat oranges.

Fill up the car and head up the mountains. Stay in a nice hotel for a few nights and go exploring. Keep warm by the fire. Arghh! I'm so excited! :D

Three weeks of that. Yass!

Goddamn summer is great.

Gimme those high 80s or low 90s.

Whether it's a flat tire or misjudging the arrival of rain or being overtaken by nightfall (which in itself would be rare because of the long daylight hours), I don't have to worry about hypothermia.

Sure, it's hard to play three sets of singles tennis. Yeah, at the end of an hour and a half, we're moving around the court like a pair of zombies or punch-drunk fighters. Yeah, we're absolutely soaked in sweat. I am dripping, my sweat bands are wet and there isn't a single dry area for me to wipe my hand so I can grip the racquet. But that's what separates the men from the boys— it's all about the will to continue. It's all about the will to prevail.

I demand to see Donald Trump's birth certificate to make sure he wasn't born in Omsk.
