Oh my god, I want to try making homemade pasta this winter and pumpkin ravioli has inspired me.
Ever had butternut squash lasagne? I've done it before - roasted the squash, made with a white sauce. Oh, fata, it's magical.

I haven't but it sounds fucking lovely. I'm going to Jamie Oliver's restaurant on Saturday, hopefully as it's Autumn he'll have the pumpkin ravioli back on the menu. Am gonna have it if so.

I love butternut squash lasagna!!!! SOOO good. I love spinach and Mushroom lasagna, as well.
Homemade pasta is simple, Yossi. You don't need an expensive attachment to make it. Kitchenaid makes them to fit onto your their mixer if you have one. Kohl's has them on sale and you can get an additional 20% off.
If you don't have a kitchenAid, there are great stand alone pasta makers that are very reasonable. It's super simple to make and SO much better than boxed, dried pasta.

Mona!!! You've given me some confidence. My mom recently gave me her KitchenAid so I think I'll try the attachment. I've been making different flours recently, so I also would like to see if I can make a decent quinoa pasta. We shall see, but it's fun to experiment at any rate.
If I stand at the window, will you chuck a ravioli into my mouth now and again?
