Talking nineteen to dozen

Someting about bananas as 19 is the atomic number for potassium.

Ha! Any synonym of blurt combined with banana running through my head right now (I'll spare everyone).

I meant the white silhouette horse will have no name. They should give it one too.

One of Da Vinci's masterpieces.

The guy pretending to be a woman trying to get into my panties is really putting in some time. Something tells me he's managed to score with this tactic with some other dudes pretending to be women.

I wonder how much happier we would be if we had the courage to define ourselves by what we are, not by what we are not.

Is it courage, or just getting fed up/growing older? I spent a good part of my life self-hating. Literally one day I decided I was sick of hating myself. And from there I just...slowly stopped doing that. It took a while to replace the old thought habits with new ones, but once I did things changed. In my head only, of course. I was still the same person, but my perception of me was different.

I read an article about happiness in the NYT, which led me to look into this thing called positive psychology. And it's interesting because we're raised to see happiness as a lifestyle or set of circumstances - success, or working hard, or having a family, or being loved, etc. etc. But I think the truth is it's really a mindset. That's why there are people who have lived through horrible tragedies, lost all their loved ones, and now live happily in relative poverty while others with loads of material wealth and friends and health can be miserable.

In life there are so many variables out of our control - the economy, weather, other people - but we have full control over how we react to these things, and our reactions are a greater chunk of our experience than we realize. It's an enormous power.

Spotted Dick. I'm just saying. Some people shouldn't talk.

Yeah, with all due respect I don't think our fine folks from the United Kingdom should be making fun of any other nation's cuisine.
