I can honestly say, when growing up, I never dreamed of getting a gold medal in Olympic curling.

You live in the right part of the world you would and I would imagine it is no easier than any other Olympic medal.

See that one chick on the ski half pipe? She goes around to different events that have less than 30 participants because if you finish in top 30 of enough of them you qualify for Olympics. But she doesn't actually do it, she just wants to be in the games. She just skis down the hill and that's it.
Part of me thinks it's brilliant, part wants to throat punch her.

Mets said they might sign Tebow as a draw if they don't make the playoffs. You wanna play for a team that has Tebow?
 
there's a very strong possibility that tim tebow wasn't even alive at the time this fantasy was something i indulged in. doc gooden and daryl strawberry were still good at the time. also, hojo.

A delightful 42.7 mile bicycle ride on a near cloudless 80+° day.

There are always a few unusually warm days every winter and it's important to grab the opportunity to get out there to keep my seat.


The Brit rode 10,000 miles in 2017 but even he said this year's January and February was too cold to ride safely. He witnessed a couple of folks wipe out on the ice.

I wonder what he's going to do for an encore in 2018. The guy is amazing. I run into him almost every time I go.

I'm sitting here looking out the window watching this very clearly defined weather front move in. It's actually a bit surprising that the forecasters aren't calling for some violent weather. Ahh, now I see that they've changed the forecast to include thunderstorms.


It's days like today that give everybody a premature but severe case of spring fever.

With the work load they have piled on me, it is almost always when I get to it. I have a list usually as long as my arm as soon as I walk into the door and interruptions all day long.
