What do you all do? We sent chocolates and flowers to Manu's mom (who's alive), but other than that I'm lost.

I spent the day with my sister, since her husband's out of town. We shopped, visited Mama at the cemetery, got pissed off because the grass hadn't been cut recently (Seriously, it's Mother's Day, pretty it up!), I sent the city a strongly worded email about it, then we came home, drank some beer and planted a garden.

I'm fucking exhausted.

Remember the good times.

I did what I could a couple of years ago. Mom and dad are in a niche at the downtown cemetery. When I put them in the niche, I put dad all the way to the back, where it's the coldest (to match his heart) and I put mom up front, by the brass door, where the sun would heat up the niche, even in winter. I knew she'd like that.
