Something so silly as using a tissue from the bottom of my purse, it smelling of peppermint, made me miss my grandmother so badly.

Damn you, memory. Damn you.
 
Grand Budapest Hotel was absolutely delightful. I didn't even mind spending the 11 bucks to see it in the theater.

i cannot stand that dudes movies.

I take each one on a case by case basis, but on the whole I love his artistic style and color schemes. On the other hand, sometimes I watch about half of one of his films and am just like, "That's enough of him for today." I understand when people say they don't care for him.

I'm becoming a fan. I can appreciate a director who has a real, consistent vision.

Though I imagine it would be hell to work for him; he has more than a touch of the OCD from what I've read.
 
It was like opening the door of a wing of a house, that I had not visited for a very long time.

New England Spring, does not last very long. But, it delights the senses.

(It felt as if the sun's rays were burning a hole into the top of my head.)
