I think I'm getting ill.

One minute I'm boiling hot so I take all my clothes off one layer at a time.

The next I am shivering and clammy. So I put them all back on again. Then I boil up. Round and round I go in the eternal cycle of the sick. Will it ever end????

Plus, my throat is sore, I couldn't even enjoy my late night cup of tea because it was hard to swallow.

Also, Question time on BBC1 was rubbish. The stupid politicians and all their lies have made me more sick, I swear.

*grumble grumble*

On the plus side, if I'm sick then that means lots of lovely sleep and playing on the internet! So I shouldn't moan....

LOL Probably. Did you ever see that comic, it was family circle, and it shows the older boys guardian angel, and it's all bedragled(sp?) looking, and exhausted from keeping him safe? My grandpa was like that. He was the stereotypical old man driver. He drove 20 miles an hour everywhere . . . through red lights, the wrong way down one way streets. The amazing thing? He never had an accident, or got a ticket. My mom and I think that when he died his guardian angel had to go on vacation, and get counseling for PTSD. lol

Thanks graceanne! I imagine I probably make more fuss than your kids did. Owen calls me "the dying swan"

God I sincerely hope not. B is the most melodramatic child alive. You'd swear that she's dying. Yesterday I had to send her to her room. She had an itty bitty, microscopic owie, and she wanted a band aid for it. I told her no, and she limped into the living room, collapsed on the floor, and held on to her 'owie' and screamed like she was dying. I finally told her to go be melodramtic in her room. You'd swear she was dying. She is so K's just deserts.

LOL!!!! That's so funny. I can picture the scene perfectly!

Thanks for some reason that has cheered me right up :)

Kids are good for the soul (at least other people's are, I'm not quite so sure it was that funny for you!)

No, not particularily, but as I was writing this story, I had a feeling that other people might. I just wanted to smack her and give her a real owie. But since she was looking for attention, sending her to her room was the correct route. What amazed me was while she was in her room she spent the whole time screaming for her daddy. He'd have smacked her butt, and sent her to her room.

Oh icky. Sounds like the same crud D's mariposa had. She gave it to her Master too. Isn't that just the sweetest thing? Anyway, drink lots of water and get some sleep NOW cause if it's the same bug, you're going to be coughing so bad in a day or so you that you can't lie down.

A quote I found while surfing around:

"A Master, if He is indeed wise,
does not bid you to enter the
house of His own wisdom,
but rather leads you to the threshold
of your own mind...."

I got food poisoning Thursday night.

I don't remember much from the last 36 hours, except that I spent all thurs night dry heaving and it didn't stop until noon yesterday...

I definitely would have called an ambulance except I couldn't find my phone. I think I spent some of the night passed out on the bathroom floor.

Icky.

Wish my roommate hadn't chosen the last few days to spend at her bf's.

I want my girls back. :(

I keep looking at their pictures and feeling sad.

I second what Snowy says. Thought about you today -- was in your neck of the woods dropping off a friend at Ft. Laud airport.

Thanks for the hugs, gracie.

I'm feeling much better. Still having a hard time eating anything, and I've been sticking to very bland foods such as oatmeal and toast. The more I sleep the better I feel - I just woke up from another nap and it helped.

I forgot you live in SoFla.

I leave for Hawaii tomorrow, but we should get together sometime.

Hawaii! Right on!! :) Enjoy! Main island? I should have gone when I lived in California...oh well, right? Have a safe trip! Yes I think we're like 20 min apart? Something like that. heh.

Hugs and gropes. I hope you're better when Marquis gets there.

Thanks, ciara! I am feeling mostly better, except for some lingering nausea and fatigue. Having Marquis here will make me feel much better.

*hugs and gropes back*
