The agency rang today with a job at last. Not clerical work like I'd asked for, but a contract as a hotel cleaner.

Sigh.

Of course I took it, what choice do I have? The rent is due in a week and we don't have nearly enough money to cover it. O is working dozens of extra shifts already.

But really, I am not looking forward to this one. Pulling pubic hairs out of plugholes for seven hours a day. Yuck.

Oh for a winning lottery ticket or the death of a rich, old and distant realative who remembers me fondly.
