The "I Didn't Get Laid Today" Thread

Didn't get laid today.

But all this talk of phone sex has made me really wish that a situation that could be remedied....

It's also reminded me that I wrote a new poem and really want some opinions on it... I'll post it here since it's topical and all! Can't decide whether or not to post it...



There is a delicious naughtiness
In sitting across the patio table
From these ladies in their cardigan twin sets and Prada bags
Knowing that a few moments ago
I was lying in my bed
Tangled up in phone cord
Listening to your voice
With my fingers inside me
Moaning
Gasping
Cumming.

Every time I bring my dainty salad fork to my lips
My nose is filled with my own scent
Still lingering there.

I smile a wicked smile to myself
And discuss the weather.

Not laid all day on V-day. Been a real bitch of a day. Hospital has no record of our daughter's Medicaid, even though we (a) gave it to the collection agency who was coming after us for months and had me tearing my hair out over it and then (b) gave a copy to the hospital itself after the collection agency was so fucking incompetent as to lose it, so instead of contacting us or asking us what was going on, they (c) gave our account to lawyers, who are now trying to collect for our daughter's birth, though it should already have been covered by Medicaid.

I hate those goddamned assholes and hope they experience at least as much pain as they caused me. They did the same thing to us before over another bill. If I ever get pregnant again, I'm moving to Alaska to have the kid...or how are the hospitals in New Zealand or the UK? Gods. I want to hurt someone. Badly.

Yeah, but y'all are getting strict on immigration, hon. I imagine a lot of countries are. How are the hospitals in Mexico?

Sigh. I know it'll get straightened out eventually, but right now it's just a blow I didn't expect and it hurts.

You seem like a homebirther to me! Strong, smart, empowered, willing to buck the system to try something, a believer in our bodies and their inner wisdom... And don't you have like a million kids? Definitely something to consider if you get pregnant again.

You are so scary, womern. I've been considering it for a few hours now, should I become pregnant again (unlikely, but possible for any woman who's sexually active, despite the precautions we take). I'm a dog person, she's a cat person; I can be a little bit untidy, she's a neat freak; I like to debate topics that have no answer; she can't see the point in even thinking about things like that; she also likes trips to stately homes and gardens, which bore me senseless in about 5 minutes. The turning point was when I accidentally defrosted her fridge and freezer. She was nice about it, but things were never really the same after that. C'est la vie! But I'll miss the sex

Strict on immigration? Heh heh.. I've tried immigrating to America.. that was a severe pain in the ass. Then my ex moved up here, and the immigration officers were actually helpful, polite and the process cost a hell of a lot less money.

Sorry, I've had experience with both immigration systems and Canada's is definately easier. (Not sure how it compares to other countries however, such as Meh-he-co, or England)
