The Humor, or lack thereof, In Prison Sex

Sorry Lavvy.

Most of em,as far as i'm concerned?

get what they deserve.

Murderers, rapists, rock spiders, the lots of em can fuck each other to death.

To bad. Maybe you should go into criminal defense. And while you're thinking about that, perhaps if there weren't so may laws, there wouldn't be so many prisoners. Just a thought. One I hope you remember should you ever run for office.

And i have a twisted sense of humour.

The thought of that guy that murdered a 12 year old girl after raping her?

Well shit,I'd PAY to see him fucked by a big hairy dude called Bubba.

I have represented guards in prisons and I have heard all about what happens to

:p

People like to lash out at criminals. Somehow they find the idea of someone who violated someone else (raped them, killed them, killed their children, broke into their home, whatever) being violated themselves amusing and emotionally satifying.

The truth of course is a lot of criminals are operating out of desperation, from poverty, mental illness, or something else. If a man goes out, rapes and kills 20 little girls, no amount of forced butt-fucking is going to bring them back, or make their parents feel the loss any less keenly. You make think having another person suffer will make you feel better, but I have never found that to be true in my life.

i hope every man ever conviceted of rape gets to be on the recieving end while incarcerated.
i don't think it's funny though.

you guys miss the point by focusing on murder and rape

:p

I don't think anyone outright DESERVES it. Just like the victims of their crimes don't deserve it. Nothing justifies either side of things.

Oh well. I partly agree, I don't think rape's a funny topic at all. I guess, somehow, with prisoners it seems different. It probably shouldn't.

Gotta love double standards.

siren, i didn't say it was acceptable... i didn't say it was funny... i didn't say everyone in prison deserves it....

Rape is a crime.

Only 3% of Federal inmates are violent criminals. About 60% are in for drug offenses.

You think someone deserves to be raped because they got caught with pot?

You think a rapist should be allowed to abuse and torture some guy who wrote too many bad checks, had a coke habit, or stole cable?

That's pretty fucked. How anyone can claim to be anti-crime, yet think criminals should be allowed to abuse anyone, is beyond me.

And uh,prison sex aint only about rape.

Some take it quite willingly.

new inmates when they get into prison.

It is horrible.

Sure, these people committed a crime....but not all crime is the same....yet many are still facing incarceration

AND

rape

Sodomy

beatings

forced oral copulation.

To me that is cruel and unusual punishment. So you stole some money lets say......

you deserve to go to prison for stealing.........
but do you deserve to be repeatedly raped night after night until you become someones bitch for protection and for that you must service that person?

I say, it is horrible and disgusting
and
should be corrected.

No, it is not funny.

Ask any guy gangbanged in the ass and forced to suck cock.
Ask him if he thinks it is funny.

The fact of the matter is that unless you really fuck up, you DON'T go to prison in the US the first time around. The Judges are well aware of conditions in the prisons and are reluctant to send first time offenders there.

Sooooooooooooooo, run for office and change things. Segregate the prisons. Keep the "virgins" away from the 'hard cores'. But they are mostly on their second or third offense before they get there to begin with. So don't let them on the street unless you are willing to back the second ammendment.

Ishmael

PS AussTess, aren't you glad that you live in a country that allows you to defend yourself. I can thoroughly understand your attitude.

OH really?

Of course many take it willingly. Many will also be raped, beaten, stabbed and cut, given AIDS and numerous other infections, and most have a pretty good oppurtunity to die during a measly 5 year sentence.

Let's not forget shoplifters. Nothing says justice to me like a guy getting it up the ass because his kid ran out of Pampers a week before payday.

This reminds me of a discussion me and my roommate had about an hour ago.

A guy he knows got his credit card stolen and the guy who stole it charged a little under 300 dollars on it. Well in the state he was in that is a felony and he is going away for 3-5.

I made the comment that 250 dollars really isn't that much money and maybe the felony limit should be raised.

I wasn't really surprised when I heard his response. "What are you talking about I love that it is so low. They catch more people that way and put them in the jails longer. Hell they should lower it down to 50 dollars."

He of course didn't have much to say when I brought up the various times he has stolen things that were in the 50-100 dollar range. Granted most of these were textbooks from our outrageously overpriced book store but still.

A lot of people all always up for higher sentances and incresed punishments as long as it does not effect them or anyone they know.

He also just can't seem to understand why we can't torture people to get information out of them. No, we can't even do that if they are not on our soil thats not the way the law works.

The thing I find odd is that there are groups of people who fought for years to change the way zoos operated. They said, quite rightly, that keeping a sentient animal in a cage was torture, cruel and barbaric. The public listened and changed the zoos so the animals had a more humane environment in which to live. Yet we still lock up humans in cages and think this is just fine, thank you. Then we wonder at the rates of recidivism and claim that it is because our system doesn't work. Is it really any wonder that it doesn;t work?

Which means two bodies to play with . :D

I will say, however, that the Tool song of the same name rocks.

well, I guess the criminal clients that I have had and defended that were first timers and ended up going to prison......
were just an anomaly?

Since I am a good defense attorney, and the system doesnt put frist timers in prison it must be cuz they were horrible and deserved prison and the nightly rapes right?

WRONG>

you are all missing the point.

NOt all criminals are alike in their crimes and

NO criminal deserves to be raped beaten and tortured.

This is America.

Shame on you all.

Why dont we stone them like they do in Afganistan?

Oh how miserable. First of all, criminals go to prison, well, because they are criminals. And yes, I forgot about the "Federal Sentencing Guidelines". Of course, that's all what we wanted, right? More centralized power? You give a liberal what they've been crying for and they still aren't satisfied.

Oh by the way, did you hear about the young girl that called her mother? Very distraught, asked her mother "Can you get pregnant from anal sex?"

Her mother said. "Of course dear, where do you think attorneys come from?"

Now, where do you think I got that joke? Well from one of my attorney friends. Yep, I 'even' have attorneys as friends. But they're older and not so full of righteous indignation, and they aren't running for judgeship either. The one's I know are far to intelligent.

I completely agree, but I would go even further and say that it is just as wrong in the case of rapists. There is no excuse for raping anyone ever, rape is wrong period - there is no state of affairs that will ever make it right, good, or even remotely justifiable for one human being to rape another. The moment society accepts some rapes as morally acceptable, perhaps even praiseworthy, all rapes are open to evaluation. We've just barely made it out of the days when saying "she deserved it" was an acceptable defense for rape, I don't want to head back into them again. I don't care what someone has done or how horrible they are: if you rape them you're not a hero, you're a rapist, end of story.

Am I the only person who is sick of jokes about prison sex? Am I the only one that finds this totally inappropriate?

I don't see what is so humorous about the rapings that occur in our prisons. I don't find it to be funny at all. They are criminals - yes. They are still human.

It is very disconcerting to me to see this type of humor.

No, you are not the only one. Rape is rape, the fact that the victim may have committed crimes themselves is irrelevant. The last thing we ought to be doing is deciding that there are degrees to which any individual "deserves" tto be raped. If the convicted criminal deserves to be raped, it's easy to say that the unconvicted one does too, and then the suspect, then the unsavory character, and soon it is acceptable to shrug off the rape of anyone who's morals or lifestyle we disapprove of.
