Yayyyyy, Friday, payday, AND I got off early.

How's everyone been?

Dampy.......reminds me of wet washing days, nappies, no good connotations at all. I'll have to think of some other shortened version. I make you think of someone lovely? Wow. I'm sure you must have me mixed up with someone else......but, thank you.

Charley. I agree, Tipping the Velvet, a stunning, stunning production. I haven't read the book yet, so I don't know if they changed the ending - as is the all too common want of TV adaptations. But in my case, I'm glad it ended the way it did - I'm a confirmed and totally paid up romantic - happy ending every time for me. That said, it made me laugh, it made me angry, it even made me blush in a couple of places.
