Hey Abs. Didn't skip work, just got bored, so dragged my tame 22 year old tall, slim, blonde to the car, and told her we were splitting.

Had me my first cig of the day (non-smoking environment, and I am NOT walking down 3 flights of stairs to stand in a car park just to smoke), early supper, logged on here, answered a few mails. This evening's highlight is clearing my kitchen cupboards of any and all equipment I won't need for the remaining 2 weeks until I move out. *sigh*. Such excitement, I don't know how I'll be able to stand it.

Hi DP (I will NOT call you 'dampy'), sorry its dull and raining. We haven't had rain for ages. Its been very very hot by UK standards for the last two days. Very overcast and sticky here. I'd love some rain. But I think we have days and days of heatwave forecast. *sigh*. I'm not good with heat. Not good at all.

There. How about that for a truly English response. I talked all about the weather.

Ugh, moving sucks, are you pretty well packed?

Kind of packed. Its a strange set up, living in a large, almost empty house, surrounded by piles of cardboard boxes with all my belongings in them. The place I'm moving to is much smaller, so a lot of my furniture has to be disposed of ......... the buyers don't want it, and I just can't be arsed to sell it, so it goes to a charity that provides furniture for the needy. I'm supposed to be out of here on Friday 13th (wonderful timing), but the lawyers can't get their arses in gear to finalise the paperwork, so who knows.

I have left to pack......the kitchen, which I've left last deliberately, and all my books and music collection.

So, to answer your question, yeah, pretty well packed.
