People sometimes say "the good old days weren't as good as you think", and I'm sure that's true to an extent. But one thing is certain; they were much better than these times. No one will ever look back on these past fifty years in American History and consider then "the good old days". Unless, of course, if things get much worse, which I suppose is possible.

Back then there weren't mass shootings because the typical BB couldn't buy weapons of war.
But I like Jeopardy and Antiques Road Show, and sometimes Pawn Stars, American Pickers and, Mountain Men. There were no mass shootings because children were raised by their parents and taught values. They weren't warehoused at six weeks of age so that mommy could exhaust her energy at work and have nothing left for her kids except Hot Pockets or Totino's Frozen Pizza. We were mentally more stable.
