The GB Memorial Thread

Thank you :D

Actually, Pickle met someone and has now been married a few years. A year after her wedding, I married. She lives in the States and I now live in Canada.
I speak to her almost everyday and she is doing great.

I had been away from Lit for years when I felt the urge to log on again, on the day Problem Child's death was announced. He was my favorite poster, a force that magnified everything around him.

I am so sorry for your loss. :rose:

Thank you, Mischka and Farrah. Sad to see so many names that I remember that have passed on.

Feisty died 11 May 2012, so it's well over two years since she moved on.

:(

Feisty Red Head was my roommate for a couple of years.

She had to leave her town for health reasons. She drove to Chicago, I flew to meet her there and I drove her car to live down here.

I miss her muchly.
:(

She was so much fun, so sweet. I think of her every time I wear a silly hat.

This news of Feisty passing brings me so low. I am shocked. I have been away for quite a while and the last time we spoke she was so vibrant and alive.

I was pretty surprised when I found out too.

Bumped for the day crew.

I hope no one has new names to add, but please add them if you do.

Thread is idle for 9+ months and you bump it twice in less than 24 hours?

Maybe someone else will tell you not to jump...

Thanks for the PM about this thread, but I'm sorry to see all the people listed here. It's a hard thread to read. I'm also sorry to have to add another name. Mensa was a great Litster from the early days on the GB. He went in for surgery and never came back. Cymbidia would remember him. We planted Forget-me-nots for him when he died.:rose:

:rose: Always and forever...

A decade this December. Jesus. Probably doesn't matter much now, but we had quite a colorful history together. I would not be who I am today without her. She opened my eyes in some of the best and worst ways. I often think about the life I live now and where I've ended up, and I owe a lot of that to Destinie.

I am very sorry to say that deehere passed away on Monday, October 16th. I will miss her sunny disposition and her lust for new and interesting recipes to create. She was a rare bird that always had something nice to say or encouraging words to offer.

RIP deehere. :rose:
