I am writing a story from the perspective of a woman for the first time and am having some creative troubles. I can describe a male orgasm to the T but can not do the same for a woman.

Could be that the problem you're having is because women have several different kinds of orgasms. Some women can only orgasm with clitoral stimulation which is the quickest, easiest way, and less intense. Some, orgasm only from penetration or a combination of both clitoral and vaginal stimulation, which is extremely intense. (Many of these turn out to be the 'squirters'.) Some can experience multiple orgasms; others cannot. And, finally, although rare, there are those who can achieve anal orgasms.
I think you will have to be more specific in your question to get a more detailed and honest response to this post. Also, may I point out...while men are very visual and can become aroused by what they see, women are more emotionally responsive and therefore all factors of senses play into a woman's enjoyment of sex. Mostly what they feel and what is going on in their mind at the time. (They respond to what they hear, taste, smell and touch more readily than to what they see.)

It's hard to start from nothing - also I don't know what a male orgasm feels like, so maybe start by describing that.
